I've watched that game half a dozen times and see the same thing from Peterman we've seen all preseason. The kid's not a fluke.

Two Things: 1. The one or two 30+ yd completions per game is nowhere near as important as moving the chains with the short to intermediate throws this team has shown the ability to complete AS LONG AS 2. This sieve of an o line gives Tyrod or Nate more than half a second to throw the ball

So my take away from this thread is that it's ok to denigrate and ridicule certain Bills fans who come here to talk about their team, but when a knuckle dragger spouts barely legible crap it's met with shouts of joy .

Question doesn't make sense You only keep him if he's effective in the offense they want to run and if that's the case then he's your starter.

There's an equal chance Nate settles in and gets us to 7-9 or 8-8. and that would be a season worth watching. Just have a feeling if taylor isn't available for the jet game, Peterman will have done enough to win the job. He's shown improvement every week. It's scary the whole season may come down to a rookie QB, a rookie head coach, a 4th preseason game and beating the jests in week one, but that's what it feels like.

Might be 1983 all over again. Tis time it's the Bills, phins and jests picking top 10 and all three grabbing for a franchise QB. Worked out pretty well last time for The Bills.

They need a warm body to back up Nate for Thursday and they need him yesterday. Unless you want to run the risk of playing your starting QB all of game 4 of the preseason. That's insanity. And what if Tyrod is not out of protocol by Friday? Think that ready or not its Nate against the jests. I'm a big fan of the kid but don't like this one bit. Willing to give the new regime plenty of slack with decision making, but not if they screw this one up. On a side note: IT'S JUST A DAMN GAME! Don't want anybody's brain scrambled for entertainment. Nobody should "suck it up" and play through something with lifelong consequences.

Well, this is the situation we have. If Nate goes 1st Quarter against the lions and continues to develop and then beats the jests to start the season, by all rights he has to be considered as our starter.

Your take on when to start a QB for the first time is valid and well laid out Rochester, but the problem now is do you really want to put a kid you have some hope for out there when him getting his clock cleaned isn't an if scenario but when. And where do you find an out of work QB who's dumb enough to sign up for the short term gig.

Thank God the controversy is real! Usually by this time in the preseason all we have left to kill time till game one is final cut down day. This year there are two concussions, Marcel being Marcel, the Vlad conundrum, and Cordy's foot. Fun, fun, fun...
