Your ONE prediction about this season

Bills go 9-7 and sneak into the post season. -
Every time I read a quote like this it makes me hope the impossible happens and the Bills go on a 14-2 tear without the need for trophy hunting old guys like rubin and boltin' boldin.

No weather event should be taken lightly but I had no idea what a Cat 4 hurricane could do 50 miles inland till Katrina left us dark and thirsty for a month. Now we're in north east Alabama and depending on which way this thing goes over the next couple of days I'm going to start prepping. Don't care if the neighbors think I'm nuts.

Tyrod in Concussion protocol (update - Cleared 9/5)

Don't even try to be this reasonable. It'll trash a perfectly good circular argument. -

Agreed, shouting everyone else down is a poor substitute for substance. Fortunately those that employ the tactic usually fade away. I would only add that in this instance of who will be under center for the Bills there is no other topic of greater concern or interest and it's getting the ink it deserves from all the people here. -

Or what, are you going to take your ball and go home? I don't deny you the right to express your opinion (and that's all it is, an opinion) and expect the same courtesy in return. A lot of what you write makes sense and I agree with but not sure where the notion that anyone voicing a different opinion is a hot taker or somehow otherwise a cancer to TBD comes from. There are precious few idiots posting here and many that only do infrequently are some of the more enlightened (myself not included) The mods do a good job of keeping the sails filled and the bow pointed on course. Maybe we should leave that job up to them. -
So Tyrod hasent practiced in over a week and a half...

Then why waste valuable practice time on something your going to shtcan once the season starts? (not being argumentative, it's a real question) -
Week 1: Jets' Game Preparation - Inactives Announced

Y'all are probably right. Those jumped right out at me because it's the Bills. Does that hold true for the league in general? Not smart enough to do the research to find out. -

Why are you so sure we aren't a playoff team?

discussion over -
What qualifies as a "good year" and making the playoffs or winning the SB doesn't count. It could happen but in all likely hood won't. Is building a solid O and D line enough since it starts in the trenches? What else is needed to qualify for a good year? Do they need to develop a solid base offense where you can plug and play the next man up. Does the defense have to return to the top ten form of three years ago? How much improvement is enough to keep the pessimists from claiming doom and gloom and the end of life as we know it. And what would be a bad year? 0-16 doesn't count, neither does 8-8. They've stockpiled enough draft picks to be flexible. How do you justify being pessimistic? Are the same guys from last year doing the same things as last year? Are we privy to the plan the coaching staff is implementing? Maybe we should let the games play out, one by one and enjoy the ride before sending in the obituary. I learned my lesson watching A&M vs UCLA last night

step off the curb. McDermot and the GM have us going good.

Some of the folks here have volunteered for that duty. This is just too easy and surprised none of you jokers have picked up on it yet. -

billsfan60 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The truth lies in the fact that until a week from now Transplant's vision is as valid as anybody else. The only place there might be a head scratcher is at RB, unless they plan to use Tyrod's unique skill set to better advantage in the ground game. -
Josh Rosen brings UCLA ALL THE WAY BACK!
billsfan60 replied to CanadianFan's topic in College Football
And everybody over there , including me, ate their crow and saw the light. At least for tonight. -
Josh Rosen, not worth a 2018 1st rounder.

Kid looks like the real deal, 97. Going to watch real close all season. He put that sorry ass bunch of scrubs on his back and made 'em winners. -

Got to like what you see in the 2nd half -

And you may be right on the money. I'm having a hard time tonight because a team the Tide will crush is destroying any decent observations you can make about Rosen. I will say the kid gets high marks for guts considering the clown show O line he's behind. -

It's obvious from the question you've watched a lot and made up your mind he's the guy. I don't watch much except the SEC but this year is different. And before you come back with some derisive jab, I don't care what he did last year. It doesn't matter. If the kid's got it I'll get on board. Not seeing it yet tonight. -

billsfan60 replied to gr8billsfan's topic in College Football
Exactly. Don't care if they win, hell I could care less if they ever win another game. I want to see what the kid does when the roof falls in on him like it has tonight. This gets any worse they'll probably pull him but until thn I wan to see what kind of moxie he has. -

This is what we need to see. Any QB from brady on down can have a bad quarter. Does the kid have what it takes to dig his team out when he's not getting any help. If he does, I'm on board. -
UCLA down by a ton, rosen needs to put the team on his back, and he can't. Fumble, intentional grounding throwing behind receivers, good thing he has the whole season to impress???
