  1. Yes. With the season we have had so far, this was very enjoyable. Go Bills!
  2. It's all part of the process.
  3. Pancho Via deserves all the props he is receiving. He represents the true spirit of Bills fans. It is really nice to see this class act get some recognition instead of the moronic Bills fans diving into burning card tables. You are in our prayers Pancho.
  4. I love this post. You have to respect the character of our defense. They have been playing at a consistently high level with little to no support from the other side of the ball. Let's hope the offense can catch up to the defense next season.
  5. I am not sold on KC. Andy Reid teams seem to put up great regular season records and come up short in the playoffs. The Rams look great, but this could be the Saints year. It is easy to pull for Drew Brees.
  6. Could be the case. It will be an interesting two weeks of conjecture until the starter againstvthe Jags is announced.
  7. What quarterback had looked better for the Bills this year. A performance like Barkley had against the Jet most certainly qualify as a hot hand in my understanding of the phrase. Not sure why you want to focus on semantics. The point is, if Barkley gives us the best chance of winning, he should start. Why put Allen in the position to live up to Barkley's success against the Jets. He has enough pressure on him. We have an opportunity bring Allen along at a slower pace that may be beneficial to his development. What is wrong with trying to win games? You may feel this is a waisted season, but if we could go 7-9 or even 6-10, that would be something to build on and could enhance our ability to attract more talented free agents. Just my opinion.
  8. There is wisdom in playing the "hit hand". Start Barkley after the bye week. If Barkley reverts back to his performance from previous seasons, start Allen the following week. Allen could benefit from playing some mop up duty with less pressure on him.
  9. Keep Anderson as the third qb. He seems to be really focused on being Allen's mentor. Did anyone notice he was in Allen's ear all game long?
  10. Agreed. If you look at the last six game any of them are winnable. I am not saying we will go 6 - 0 to close out the season, but with solid quarterback play who knows what this team can accomplish?
  11. I agree with you. I never really understood learning from th side lines thinking. Anderson was in his ear all afternoon during the game. Allen has the work ethic and thick skin. I really believe he will develop into a very good starter.
  12. Let it go. That is old news he made the playoffs with those bad moves. Like I said. Nothing McDermott does will change your mind. We won today. Do you want to be miserable?
  13. I tend to agree with you. Good point.
  14. This is a interesting situation. I posed this question in another thread. Do the Bills go back to the original plan and start Barkley and let Allen learn from the sidelines or do they start Allen after the bye week?
  15. This raises the question, does Barkley remain the starter and we go back to our original plan to let Allen learn from the sidelines the rest of this year? Or do we start Allen after the bye week?
  16. I doubt anything would erase your concerns. McDermott coached a team that over achieved to the playoffs in his first year. This was to be a tear down year to get out from under our dead money. We could win five or six games this year. Your expectations are unrealistic.
  17. I say this in the kindest was possible. You are delusional.
  18. I think/hope Barkley is ahead of Peterman on the depth chart.
  19. Why keep looking in the past. That accomplishes absolutely nothing. It is so much better to look forward. Each to his own.
  20. This board is loaded with passionate Bills fans. I have written a few responses and started threads similar to yours. It is difficult to see our team play so badly, but threads like this will hopefully help keep our eyes on the future. Thank you for your voice of reason.
  21. Sorry. These inept qb outings all run together. It is just a blur to me. Peterman / Anderson.. What difference does it make. Neither one has any future with this team, hopefully.
  22. Anyone 35 or less that has played in a NFL game within the last two years. How does that work for starters?
  23. I can not identify any out of work qbs that are of playing age that are not better than Peterman.
