Trading for a Carson Wentz
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well it is the off season so there is that. nothing wrong with throwing some sense of humor around during this boring time of year. it's the threads started that the OP is actually serious with things like "my sources tell me" and "high level business meetings" that tend to be more useless than entertaining. -
[Vague Title]Colts And Bills

Indy will be drafting "their QB" in april? why would they trade luck? not a likely scenario, not likely at all. -
this is true. he still is, in my opinion, a back up. I wasn't necessarily knocking him for failing and was using the little time he had as an early gauge. in that frame, he failed. even the snow game when he dove in to the opponents helmet. it should be coached back in midget league and ingrained in their minds that you slide son, slide. he has much to learn going forward. different views, it's what it's all about and keeps things interesting. well thank you

few more key pieces and they can make a run at being a contender consistently? of course, it takes time. -

And the OP's username was what again? LAMP -
you'll see more, that is if he is part of the plan going forward? he'll get his reps in camp/preseason again but he'll be on the sideline as the back up watching when the season comes around. that's where I see him and anyone should be able to see (or saw, he's still raw) he is far from an nfl caliber starting QB and still needs to work on competing for the #2 position which he may earn, could drop to #3 if the rookie shows promise.? if he were to learn a system and prove he can be at the ready when his number is called and settle down some I believe he will make a fine back up. maybe not frank reich level but definitely better then thigpen or any of the other scrubs they had in the past at back up. he was literally thrown to the wolves and failed the test but if he is still on the roster come september, then they must of seen enough potential to compete for #2?

if you don't know the difference then, you just don't know the difference. -
I kind of like this. he could play a big factor on offense. LeGarrette Blount in straight enemy mode vs. Patriots http://www.nfl.com/m/share?p=%2Fvideos%2Fnfl-cant-miss-plays%2F0ap3000000854750%2FCan-t-Miss-Play-LeGarrette-Blount-goes-Beast-Mode-on-68-yard-run New England, he said, is the enemy. "Straight enemy mode," Blount emphasized to reporters Thursday. "Ain't no friends. Ain't no homies. None of that. We know ... We know what we're going to do. They know what they're going to do. We both have the same goal in mind. There aren't any hard feelings, it just is what it is." Link

Al Riveron Will Be Back for the 2018 Season

doesn't boggle me considering the *opponent(s). *refs/pats* -
evaluate leaves the door wide open, basically gives the impression they likely move on (thankfully) from taylor. had they said taylor, who has been the teams starter for the last three seasons, will remain our starting QB, then no question who will be starting in 2018. since they didn't say the latter, makes it pretty apparent they'll be going in a different direction.
-
sure they do. not this time though, not the buffalo bills. so hang on for the ride while watching the rookie learn from the sidelines.
-
they wont start a rookie. although your choice may be 10 times better then peterman I believe McD likely learned his lesson. no, the rook will sit behind a vet. that vet wont be taylor especially after what I read in to the comments regarding taylor from the senior bowl. alex smith would be the ideal vet of choice to bring in and mentor the rookie.
