see. that's just it, I never said anything about the grade. trolls never were the sharpest knife in the drawer.

did anyone declare him the top QB in the league? this is the thing, especially on this board. the kid finished. before he finished he had some bad breaks, made some mistakes but also made some good plays. this was the first game of the season. have you seen some of the bad games around the league? the bills as a team finished and won yet there will be those that will find every damn thing they can to spin it in to a negative, that's messed up to me. I mean, you can't even win on the road against a division rival in your first game of the season without all the negative hot takes. it's okay to critique a player but their are some already pretty much writing off JA. to me, yesterday was tough to watch that kid have so many negative plays (6, int saved by penalty, safety, 2 fumble, 2 int) against him and the team, tough. I was not feeling they would persevere, yet they did. he put those negative plays behind him and led the team to a victory, can't ask for more then that. the best thing about that game was not just the win but how they did not quit, no heads were hanging. this is a young team that has not even jelled yet on offense but they managed to do enough to get the win and that is the goal, win football games. there will be more to this development picking back up sun. against the giants who I'm sure they wont be taking lightly, as they shouldn't.

but did it help them win the game? seems the browns had a tough outing. first game of the season for just about any team aside from the tanking fins, shouldn't really set in stone how that team finishes the season. some teams were just more prepared then others and those, like the browns who do have some talent to win some games, may not of been?

as cliche' as it may sound, it's one game at a time. so much can happen in three weeks, I mean marcia could go down with an injury, you still going to be scared of the patsies? no need to fear the beast until you face the beast. still two games to play until your worst fears come to pass, if they do. I personally despise that team and wont waste my time thinking about them. on to the giants.

I thought he showed some command today. audibling and making some good throws but you can also see he is a second year player, developing. the two throw away's was something he did not do in his rookie year. not a lot of hero ball but rather made some good (and bad) decisions that gave sign he's going in the right direction. you know, the best part of it was the determination to keep playing and not hang their heads. 15 to go, on to the giants. wasn't the 4th preseason game excitement had but when it came to getting down to business in the second half, they pulled together as a team and won.

those were both close and were two plays. I'm not at all concerned with a player based off two plays in the first game of the season. I don't know, seems to me they're all trying to get acclimated with one another, something like, how many new players on offense? the one over his shoulder was catch able the other bounced off of him, fluky play. no, beasley doesn't concern me.

my question is why ask? are you looking for a way to unjustify the win? injuries happen, teams make adjustments, other players need to step up. seems they couldn't step up, that and the fact the bills did make the adjustments and plays and won the game. let me ask you, had those 4 turnovers not happened would you still believe the bills could win? or do you believe CJ Mosely was the sole player preventing the bills from winning the game? 99% chance you lose the game with 4 turnovers, especially on the road. I'd say not only JA but the team as a whole showed some real character out there today to be able to overcome that and comeback to win the game. on to the giants...

they did lose mosely so that hurt them some, bills still made the right adjustments and plays in the second half. it was the first game. there is going to be, as per usual, the major critics dissecting this game to find anything they can negative about it. they shook the rust off, on the road against a division team with a pretty stingy defense and came back to win it in the 4th Qtr after committing 4 turnovers, where 99% of the time you lose that game. I'd say it was one hell of a game!
