One idea I thought of long ago is to have a female gymnast prepared to go airborne in front of the field goal poles. Have two guys capable of launching a 90 pounder into the air 20-30’ have her attempt to punch the ball out of the air. Not sure if it would be legal but it would do wonders for DEI initiatives.
The only way I see to defend this is with DIME / 7 DBs who can all mix it up. The most WRs a team can put on the field is 5. That’s man defense on 5 and utilizing 2 safeties to cap / bracket Waddel and Hill. Make the other 3 WRs beat you.
They should commit to running the ball early in the game and force safeties to cheat forward then unleash the play action pass or bootlegs to get Josh moving.
So it’s part coaching, part Josh being unassertive, and part WRs not executing. That’s bad all around. Not all on Josh but he must he must grow more as a leader.
He was and there are dudes running open on underneath routes, but to Warner’s point the routes aren’t being run or taught correctly. Correct me if I’m wrong but shouldn’t Allen if he was more like Brady be bitching for them to be run to perfection?
Gabe Davis is the greatest single game WR in NFL postseason history. I'm good to roll with the guy who shows up big, in BIG GAMES. Just throw him the ball.
But that required a team of rocket scientists led by Daboll who Belichick says is the smartest coach in football. Is Dorsey not capable of being Oppenheimer? Do we need a few more ‘reformed’ German rocket scientists?
