  1. My Bitcoin is killing it
  2. Hot take: Cage is a better actor than Rodgers is a QB.
  3. Recovering is good enough for me. Get well soon.
  4. Disregarding the author I think these are all legit questions that keep some Bills fans up at night. The final point on McDermott is true of any coach that has never won the big one. To McDermott’s credit his quote on this 2022 Bills team will be judged by how they perform week by week, is accurate. As a title favorite the Bills can show their preseason accolades right out of the gate Week 1 on the road against the defending champs.
  5. Bold prediction: Josh Rosen will be Browns QB week 1. Crazy.
  6. I like the OPs concept. I’d add ownership & front office to the mix. Either we are going to win a Super Bowl or not. It seems for the Bills organization they have decided that to win it all means being in the playoffs annually. The more playoff appearances the greater their chances. Trading picks or doing trades at the deadline, isn’t worth mortgaging the future. Playoff Caliber mindset, followed by Championship Caliber. On paper the Bills are legitimate challengers.
  7. 17 minus 8, plus playoffs, carry the…Doh.
  8. Diggs likes Keenum, good enough for me. Rumor has it Keenum will start the first 8 games to allow NFL teams a chance to hang with the Bills in 2022. When week 10 rolls around Allen is back to finish off the season, 10-0.
  9. Jonathan Taylor is an elite back with an elite OL. Ryan can find one on ones and make accurate throws. He will turn the ball over like Wentz. The Colts WRs & TEs are good, not great. Defensive secondary has been weakness, along with lack of pressure by DL on 3rd down. 11-6. Houston - is rebuilding. 3-14. Titans - have an elite RB getting high on mileage, coming off a major foot injury. Tannehill doesn’t make a lot of mistakes, and is dangerous in PA, screen game, and can still scramble if not contained in the pocket. Not many pass catching weapons. 7-10. Jaguars - have a QB who we were told could be a difference maker, a RB coming back from an injury missed rookie season, and a defense that limited Josh Allen to 6 points and 3 turnovers. The maturation of this team means they will be a tougher out in 2022, similar to the Jets. Not yet a complete team with a QB that has potential but still needs time to learn how to beat NFL defenses consistently. 9-8.
  10. If the overall benchmark to qualify as a great coach is “did they win a Super Bowl?”, then there are many great coaches off this list. Including: Levy, Schottenheimer, Knox, Gilman, Grant, Wyche, and Reeves. Some coaches are lucky enough to get a second shot, and very few are likely to get a third. One coach lucky enough to get 3 cracks is Pete Carroll. Carroll was one year and done as Jets HC, then became coach of the late 90s Patriots whose record declined every year he remained HC. Carroll’s lack of success brought us 20 years of misery at the hands of Darth Hoodie. Specifically on Frazier, this is a coach who got to the playoffs in year 3 in Minnesota with Christian Ponder going 10-6. The following season Ponder returned from orbit and Frazier was out the door. So much of a coaches success rests on the entire quality of the organization; ownership, GM, QB, OC & a bit of luck. Frazier has obviously learned from his time in Buffalo & the league. Why decline to interview with Houston? Probably he identified the organization as not an ideal environment, QB on way out, questionable ownership, rebuilding, etc. Frazier isn’t dumb, he wants to put it out there that he is still interested, and is biding his time for the best opportunity. Ironically the city and team I could see him gravitating to is Seattle assuming Pete Carroll bottoms out in 2022 and exits. Seattle is also rumored to be in the market for new ownership as Paul Allen’s estate looks to sell the Seahawks & Portland Trailblazers. In replacing the once bumbling Pete Carroll, Frazier would have new ownership and an opportunity to do a rebuild with high draft picks to find a QB. Replacing an older defensive minded coach with another older but younger than former defensive minded coach would be a seemingly proper ideological fit. Frazier’s cool demeanor and thoughtful responses would play nice in the Pacific Northwest.
  11. Big Ben had how many Hall of Fame caliber players on his team? The future is unwritten, but anything short of at least 1 would be gut wrenching.
  12. What is Belichick’s playoff record without Tom Brady as QB1? I believe it’s 1-3. Small sample size but I’m noticing a trend.
  13. Can Tommy Doyle step in? The 2nd line active roster depth is equally important. It’s great developing guys for beyond the current season, but I also have high expectations in Beane & Co to find guys who can step in and provide immediate impact. I see the beating both OL & DL take as the highest importance.
  14. Drugs are bad
  15. If Josh can embrace TB12 he will be invincible.
  16. Edmunds isn’t perfect but he’s the best we have at his position.
  17. Disgraced Sapp playing the role of D’Jango Stephen.
  18. Gronk committed an assault on White and never did any jail time. Lucky he didn’t paralyze him.
  19. Bill Polian helped rekindle mass interest in the Bills and then he did the same for Indy. Kelly - Manning. Smith - Freeney. Harrison - Reed. Faulk - Thomas. Draft good players, retain them. This is what all good franchises do.
  20. Jerry Rice is far ahead of all other WRs total receiving yards wise, and he did it in the pre-modern era which favors passing attacks. From 1985 to 2004 Rice played and for the vast majority of that time ‘85-02 he was a top 30 WR. In a time when most WRs are done by age 33, Rice continued to churn out yards and 1,000 yard seasons until he was 40.
  21. I could see us keeping 7, only if Kumerow’s role on ST can’t be replaced. Locks #1 - Diggs #2 - Davis #3 - Crowder - PR/KR #4 - McKenzie - PR/KR #5 - Shakir - PR Borderline #6 Stevenson - PR/KR/Slot/Outside #7 Austin - PR/KR/Slot/Outside #8 Kumerow - Outside/ST #9 Hodgins - Outside/ST
  22. I will listen likely when the hangover sets in.
