In hindsight we should have travelled to SFL earlier in the week, brought A/C benches with a overhead shade, and considered rotating our OL like we do our DL.
If you want to climb a mountain you need to salt up and drink electrolytes. Miami will be all about the rotations and keep the young corners fresh. McD should be rotating like a middle school basketball team.
McD remembers losing the past 2 times vs Tennessee by a combine 29 points so he knew he needed to win by at least 30 to keep his +/- at a winning margin.
Vrabel said “they kicked our ass” like he enjoyed watching us do it. I bet he dared Bobby to hit him so he could feel like he also got his ass whooped.
I thought Kumerow should have been the in-line blocker, why Shakir was the inside guy baffles the mind. The drop was bad, and reminded me of Knox rookie season. The game will eventually slow down and Shakir will have a chance to make plays.
A routine assisted tackle he’s been made the past 5 seasons. Make 500+ tackles and this is the .01% it happens. Did you not like the sack? Or the PD that led to an INT? Haters gonna hate.
Watch Tua play. He’s not very mobile & puts up many 50/50 balls which can lead to turnovers and WRs getting blown up. The key to beating Miami however, will be how well our offense performs against their defense. Our defense is built to take out Tua who by all metrics is a poor man’s Mahomes. It’s lucky for us our coaches have the Baltimore game tape to prepare. I suspect they will bait Tua into many poor decisions and totally shut down their running game.
