  1. I dont think they are allowed to erect anything on the sideline but iirc I've seen assistants holding up shades in the past.
  2. There's a difference between saying they suck and saying they are paper tigers. They are paper tigers and they will continue to romp weak teams more often then not and continue to lose to the teams they need to beat to go anywhere. It's a playoff team, it's not a Super Bowl team and it's not a Super Bowl team for the same reasons they weren't last year.
  3. And my point was and still is that they beat up on weak teams and last year was their high water mark unless things improve.
  4. There are 17 games, but yeah, 13-3. Dion Dawkins is a major concern.
  5. The point is that our offense is overrated and doesn't do squat against good teams whereas actual good offenses score on everyone.
  6. They ran up the score on non playoff teams. Playoff teams they struggled for the most part, again, apart from Seattle whose defense was God awful and half the Rams game.
  7. He caught 53 passes once, so sure.
  8. 5 offensive touchdowns in the last 14 quarters of football. Scintillating. People will make all the excuses you want to hear, the weather was bad, the refs didn't call PI, they were strong defenses, it was week 1 after hardly any pre-season time, all the WRs were hurt in the playoffs, the refs hated us again in week 1, we were just too excited, blah blah blah. Bottom line, they haven't been scoring and it has been for several games in a row, not coincidentally against good teams. They haven't put up a lot of points on a playoff team since Seattle and their defense was historically bad. Before that it was the first half v/ the Rams. The second half they slowed us down a lot and frankly we deserved to lose that game if not for a gift call at the end. We made a lot of hay against bad teams last year and they need to show they can score on good teams otherwise this is all BS.
  9. SE PA and not really. I have a couple but they all go up to Central PA during the season to hunt with their buddies. I try to convince one or two every year. It's not hard, we can seriously sit here and drink beer and watch football and you can nail one from my couch.
  10. Unless he's going full Lattimer I think that ship has sailed.
  11. There are seriously way too many and I don't partake. Someone needs to.
  12. He probably manages his money well...
  13. Some of them are dumb enough I think you could just build a pit fire in the yard and they'd just walk into it to try to get to my shrubs on the other side.
  14. I have a huge buck that visits my yard regularly. 12 points. Saw him a couple days ago. There is a another group of three bachelor's that also come around, they are 8s They are brazen as hell, you could sit on a chair on my deck and take your pick. You'd have to walk maybe 50 yards total to pick it up and bring it back to my driveway to throw in your truck.
  15. They haven't established the tight end since roughly 1991.
  16. It's because he landed on him. I agree it's weak but that's why.
  17. Ahhh the good old border days. There were quite a few times I got back into the US from Canada when I'm quite sure I wasn't awake or cogent but was definitely underage. There were other times I remember sitting in traffic with my buddies practicing the questions so we could try to give the answers without slurring too badly. I'm sure we all sounded like we were having strokes and yet we always got back home. These were the days when you could "correct" a NY license with a colored pencil and a steady hand. We'd cross the border uncorrected and then sit in the parking lot and magically become as old as we needed to be to enter whichever establishment we were trying to enter. The ballet at 16 was a mind blowing experience.
  18. Cant blame a guy for getting injured
  19. It's a long season and more broken teams than this one have won but there needs to be an awful lot of growth in an awful lot of areas and they have the air of a team that is smelling itself a bit too much.
  20. The offense is broken and has been broken for awhile. Dolphins 26 Bills 19 and many heads explode.
  21. The whole line needs to get itself together because their dline wrecks shop.
  22. Why should it have changed? All they did was go from consistently terrible for the better part of 20 years to above average for two seasons. If last week's game didn't make you have flashbacks of every single concern you had about the team, the offense, the quarterback, the coaching staff, the defense in big spots, I don't understand what it would take. They hit every single sour note they could have in week one and it's going to give people a lot of doubt for the next several weeks if not the rest of the season. It doesn't matter if they beat Miami by 40, that underlying doubt will still be there. Can they beat good teams? Is Allen really the guy? Can this be the team to push it over the top or are they fundamentally flawed and just toying with me?
  23. Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Baltimore, second half v. Indy. Same problems in all of them.
