  1. What ya need to think on...is that the entire Bills fans focus was on Chandler Jones, Arizona. He went the Raiders for around the same money as Von...the Bills fans crying began! Then, A Beane miracle! Von, who at 32, is only one month older than Jones. Chandler got 10 sacks in 2021 and 5 came in one game. Von Miller was a hero in this past super bowl. Jones...not so much!
  2. Like in his first season in Buffalo... where he took the Bills to the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor at QB? Speaking of playoffs...like the absence thereof for Buffalo since 1999... Yet, under McD the Bills have been in the playoffs 4 of the last 5 seasons. It took Andy Reid 7 years to reach a super bowl with the Chiefs. So, lets whine about something else...
  3. The man is probably bent over ...so he doesn't show how he really feels about this move. I'm pretty sure the Bills defensive coaching staff is all smiles atm.
  4. Its not that often that Bills fans can revel in something...this signing should move them over the top.
  5. Awesome stuff! Beane the magical wizard strikes again...lighting bolt to Bills fans!
  6. Von to Buffalo, NFL Network stated the entire news room went....WHAT!
  7. Just so stoked for this! Just when Bills fans were crying that they lost Chandler Jones to the Raiders. Pats CB Jackson and Mack to the Chargers... (the pats get weaker). This signing is better! Chandler Jones had 10 sacks last season...5 in one game! He is getting the same money as Vonn...which would you rather have? The SB hero or the Card?
  8. Bills fans should be doing back flips over this...front flips...crazy side flips. Forget the money part and just be happy the Buffalo Bills just won free agency...and the didn't need to give up a 2nd and 3rd round pick like the Rams gave Denver...😆
  9. YES YES YES!! https://twitter.com/MikeGarafolo/status/1504226438744096780/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1504226438744096780|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.twobillsdrive.com%2Fcommunity%2Findex.php%3Fapp%3Dcoremodule%3Dsystemcontroller%3Dembedurl%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fmikegarafolo%2Fstatus%2F1504226438744096780%3Fs%3D21
  10. The ones that count get it...all that matters!
  11. LA gave up a second and third round pick for the guy too...🤑
  12. Did ya watch the super bowl?
  13. I guess this one is a whole lot better than Super Mario...didn't even take 100 pages either!
  14. WHOO HOO! ahh, this makes me smile!
  15. 10 sacks last season and 5 came in one game. Not gonna cry over this. Like with Antonio Brown and JJ Watt...sometimes things happen and it turns out okay. Vonn Miller anyone?
  16. What another amazing facet to the Buffalo offense he would be...along with one more weapon that opposing DCs would need to account for... My problem with him is the money.
  17. If this team is going to pay a player 16 mill per...I'd hope its a new pass rusher!
  18. Now, If ya wanna know why the Bills didn't get back to a SB since the 90's under owner Ralph Wilson? He came to the simple conclusion that it was damned expensive to build a SB team and maintain it. From star players, coaches, scouts, front office personnel...once a team gets to the big dance...everyone wants to get paid...everyone! The previous owner wasn't a billionaire and he depended on the Buffalo Bills franchise to support his lifestyle. He determined that if you keep the fan base happy with some upgrades in star players while keeping the team on the very edge of winning...it kept the butts in the seats and the team profitable. Look who he had as his de facto GM...the marketing guy. The man did want to win and if it somehow came to pass he would have embraced it! He loved the Buffalo Bills, loved the fans! He kept the team in Buffalo when he could have easily moved to a different city. Man, the 70's were hell on earth for Buffalo fans with not beating the Miami Dolphins for the entire decade on the 70s!!! 10 years man, 10 years with...no...wins...against...Miami...for...the...entire...decade!!! Not to mention the love canal, the stench with yellow air from the steel mills. Snow! Did I mention SNOW!
  19. Recently? Mostly because the team needed to find a QB and develop him while building out the roster. That generally takes 3-4 years. The Buffalo Bills have done that and are in the process of tweaking the roster, better O line, better pass rush, perhaps another top corner. The biggest road block to Buffalo has been a team that has been in the playoffs since 2013, when they hired their current HC Andy Reid. Who is someone who had previously built a SB team with the Eagles. That 2013 KC team went from 2-14 in 2012 to 11-5...and made the playoffs with a QB in Alex Smith. The Bills attempted to acquire Smith before he went to KC. So, KC has been a playoff team since 2013. Meanwhile building and tweaking their roster. It took them seven years to get to a SB and win it in 2019. Buffalo is in year five with McD and basically right on plan.
  20. Kinda like what the Bengals did in not handing off to RB Joe Mixon and instead handed it to Samaje Perine... in his two rushes that game, zero yards. Brian Daboll had his moments in which he looked so genius at times. Yet, fell on his face many, many times too. My take is Josh Allen had a lot to do with him looking so good. Anyway, My take from what we will see with the 2022 Buffalo Bills offense is what we saw the last few games of the 2021 season. More balance, with less QB runs and more RB runs.
  21. Trade him to an NFC team for a cup of coffee.
  22. In my view that KO was irrelevant as I can see not allowing a return. Shades of the MCM. My problem was with that "prevent defense" after the kick as all it did was prevent the win.
  23. It was highly rumored that the Bills were going to draft Najee Harris with their first pick in last years draft. The Steelers beat them to it and got him at #24 and Buffalo didn't pick till #30. I was saying why? The Bills have Motor and Moss. They don't need a RB. Now, I've watched Harris with Pitt this past season and good lord he would have been a great add to the Buffalo offense! That is... provided... of course that the OC actually called more run plays. Then you have to think... do the Bills really want to hand off 300 times? I'm thinking no! Devin Singletary will do the job needed in this offense. Build a better offensive line to protect the QB and do a better job at run blocking. Singletary was 19th in yards before contact. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2021/rushing_advanced.htm Look who was #1, #2, #3.
