  1. Dorsey will be the Bills new OC. I gotta wonder how long Daboll will last with the Giants when he doesn't turn Daniel Jones into another Josh Allen? Guess we'll see. 😝
  2. While I think that Miami is an option for Daboll. I wonder if he really wants to face the Bills and Patriots 2x a season. The NY Giants are looking at both Daboll and Frazier...who knows. Denver and Chicago out of the Picture, Houston, Jacksonville, Raiders, Miami, Giants, Minnesota, NO Saints.
  3. At this point I'm still trying to figure out which assistant I dislike more... Frazier and his effed up defense for those 13 seconds... in rushing four and having the secondary concerned about the sidelines. Meanwhile Hill, Kelce run free. What bother me most is the Bills know how to stop Mahomes from passing as they did in 2021 where KC ran all over them. Dime defense and cover the receivers in making the Chiefs run the ball. They have no excuses for this royal Eff up. I'm hoping Frazier gets hired by some team. OTOH, had the Bills been able to muster an offense against the Patriots in that wind storm, score more than 6 points against the Jags. More than 16 points against the Steelers in the opener. 13 wins would have given the Bills home field and a bye. It won't hurt at all to see a guy get hired away. The Bills have a good RB and a decent O line...finally! I wonder why it took most of the season to find them? While Singletary looks to be more then enough to help this offense score. I just can't imagine how good that run game would be with Najee running the ball... What we saw was the that the Bills are short on solid backups for the O line and we don't know if C Mitch Morse will be back for 2020. Better LT, OG backups are needed too. While Levi Wallace played well this season. I gotta think the Bills will still be making moves to find his replacement again. A supreme pass rusher would certainly help the defense. Lastly, is Star gonna be back for 2022? I'm thinking Beane is going to be working overtime to improve this team this offseason.
  4. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-2022-nfl-free-agency-rankings-edge-defenders 1. Chandler Jones 2. Vonn Miller 3.Clowney 4. Randy Gregory 5. Emmanuel Ogbah 6. Melvin Ingram 7. Haanson Reddick Last season the Bills missed on JJ Watt as he chose the money and Arizona. Good thing too as he only played in 7 games with ONE SACK in 2021 Chandler Jones had 10.5 sacks for the Cards and played in 15 games. 10 years in the NFL. Khalil Mack played in 7 games too and had 6 sacks. New HC is a defensive minded guy in Colts DC Matt Eberflus. Kinda doubt he will want to give up one of his best pass rushers. The guys hasn't had double digit sacks since 2018, 12.5 sacks, 2019 8.5 sacks, 2020, 9 sacks, 2021, 6 sacks. Also, please stop with this idea of obtaining an oft injured RB. The guy is an over paid bust in NY, so lets leave him there! The Rams gave up a 2nd and 3rd round pick plus Denver are a chunk of his contract, 9 mill. 17 mill per...is he worth that now as 6th best edge? On another note, didn't the Buffalo Bills pay 100 mill to DE Mario Williams and have the #1 pass rush, best D line in the league in 2014? 9-7...
  5. Everyone thinking Aaron Rodgers now to Denver...John Elway have a hand in this I wonder? Denver is not the only team looking for a top QB. Saints, NY Giants (with Daboll as HC?) or the Pittsburgh Steelers...Or If Daboll takes the Miami job he goes after Rodgers...
  6. I know, he sucks. Still, another poster was gloating about how good the guy was in 2017 going 10-6 under Hackett as OC. Then, the very next season fell on his face. My point was, Hackett didn't develop Bortles into even a decent backup QB and was promptly fired by the guy whos coattails he was riding in the first place. My take is that Packers HC Matt LaFleur must be laughing himself silly over the prospect of Hackett becoming an NFL HC.
  7. I agree. GB HC Matt LaFluer wanted a figurehead as OC who wouldn't get in his way while he ran the offense. Gonna be interesting.
  8. Hackett in Jacksonville had Blake Bortles as his QB...how did that work out? He develop Bortles into a star QB or get fired?
  9. What happened with Trent in Buffalo was a product of what happens when you get drafted by a bad team. Dick Jauron as HC. Turk Schonert as OC. Where is Turk now? Last I knew he was in the CFL (2018) as receivers coach. Concussions ended that kids NFL career.
  10. Man, I gotta tell ya... I'll feel so bad for Rodgers if he does go to Denver with that turd as HC. Without Rodgers in Denver they will be the new Jacksonville Jaguars. I also wonder if Rodgers screwed GB on purpose this season as he doesn't like their GM and wanted out. Gonna be interesting for sure.
  11. Well, he did get Kubiak to be his HC (who used to be his backup) Hired Wade Phillips as his DC. Found a way to bring in QB Peyton Manning to win a SB. Elway hired in 2011. Denver stunk previously with Josh McDaniel's as HC. Hired John Fox and Denver went from 4-12 to lost Div in 2011, lost Div 2012, lost SB, lost Div, won SB in 2015. The Denver owner (Pat Bowlen) passed on in 2019 and ownership has been in disarray ever since.
  12. This is hilarious! He didn't call the plays in GB
  13. Shhhh, just let it happen! Perhaps NY Ginats, Stinky fish for one of them. Bears, Saints, Miami, Denver, Raiders, Vikings, Jags, Texans...any of them.
  14. Just some thoughts here. When you think about how much experience those two coordinators have in the NFL there should be no reasons / excuses for the type of failure we all saw this season...on offense and defense! That 6-9 Buffalo loss game against the Jacksonville Jaguars comes to mind first. Four sacks on Josh Allen and under heavy duress all game. 47 pass attempts vs 9 runs by the RBs. This against the 30th ranked defense. When the passing game isn't working...just keep passing? I'm haunted by that loss to a 1-6 team...(remember everyone posting about how bad the Buffalo Bills O line is and how bad the Bills RB's were back then?) Yes, the Bills O line was playing poorly at that time...but 6 points? (If one or two O line players can make this much difference... the Bills had better find more talent for that line this off season!) The Jags were literally destroyed later in the season by the Patriots with a rookie QB, 50-10. That Colts game was a complete embarrassment, humiliation... at that hands of a bum of a QB in Carson Wentz who only completed 11 passes out of 20 for 106 yards. The Bills defense gave up 32 rushes for 185 rush yards, 4 TDs to Colts RB Taylor and 41 points. MNF against the Patriots in a loss, 10-14. Pats RB Damien Harris, 10 carries for 111 yards, 1 TD. That's a 11.1 yard per carry average. That sound like a #1 defense? At that time Frazier stated that if you can't stop a RB with the same players in a stacked box...then there is nothing else you can do. However, that changed later in the season when faced against another strong run team the defense did swap out smaller players for bigger Bills defenders, and did much better at stopping the run. I'm thinking McD had a say in the change of mind. 13 seconds left in regulation, with a 94.3% Buffalo chance to win on the kickoff in that game against the Chiefs. NVM the kick. What freaking defense were the Bills in that allowed both Hill and Kelce to be that wide open for 19, 25 yards respectively to allow that FG?
  15. Kinda like Russ Brandon... Every time I talked about how he was messing with the football side of the team... a dozen posters here would jump all over me. And now, seems like they are all now gone...like him, Thankfully! The guy was magical with the Buffalo Bills passing offense at times. The problem is there is a whole lot more to an offense, so yea!
  16. Traded up to draft this... Traded away Tyrod Taylor for a 3rd! W000000000! Drafts have been terrible? Traded a #1 pick for WR Stephon Diggs! Gabe Davis, 2020 4th round pick who just did something that WR Jerry Rice never did, catch 4 TDs in the playoffs. The Bass master with a 6th pick. CB Dane Jackson with a 7th who was out there playing in that playoff game. Dawson Knox who is gaining notoriety as a top TE. 3rd round pick. Devin Singletary who most wanted replaced up until a few games ago has been doing well...since he has been properly utilized. Most drafts take at least three years before we actually see what the players develop into. Attempting to draft a pass rusher over paying 12-17 million per for one makes an awful lot of sense to me.
  17. "The Bills had a 94.35% win probability when Tyler Bass lined up for the kickoff and sent it flying through end zone." "It was the safe play, certainly. Returner Byron Pringle had two kick returns longer than 30 yards when the two teams played earlier this year and the Bills wanted to keep the ball out of his hands." https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/13-seconds-short-breaking-down-the-bills-decision-making-in-their-last-second-loss-to-the-chiefs/ "The only issue is the Bills should’ve been more focused on draining each of those final 13 seconds as quickly as possible. Allowing the Chiefs to take a touchback gives them a free 25 yards without losing any time. If Bass kicks it short of the end zone, say inside the 10 or even the 15-yard-line, Pringle would have needed to use some of that precious time to move the ball to where the drive started." "The Bills were so desperate to keep the ball out of Pringle’s hands and risk a long return, which not only is poor self-scouting — the Bills allowed just 18 yards per kickoff return this year, second-best in the NFL — it’s poor logic. Would you rather your opponent have to carry the ball 65 yards with the clock ticking or just 45? With all their timeouts remaining, the Chiefs ate up 44 yards up the middle on just two plays, taking only 10 seconds off the clock." Even announcer Tony Romo was questioning, why not a squib kick? Wide right...MCM, throw back TD and now 13 seconds. Good lord, this will haunt Bills fans forever! Or, at least until they win a super bowl. Very questionable defensive calls to boot...Heartbroken 😭
  18. Agree, however. Don't know If I blame McD as much as I do Frazier. He has had issues all season that I think McD stepped in to fix. Like switching up smaller defenders to bigger to stop the run. Frazier stated just stack the box with the starters and that should be enough. It clearly wasn't! That entire defensive game plan for the 13 seconds and OT were kind of mind boggling to me. Rush with four and protect the sidelines...while allowing Hill, Kelce to run free up the middle. 13 seconds. Yes, making the Chiefs field that ball would have taken time off the clock and even Tony Romo questioned that call. Going into that kickoff the Bills had a 94.3% win probability and I get why they wanted to keep the ball out of the hands of that KC returner, Pringle. BUT, had they kicked short and covered that kick. (Buffalo had allowed only 18 yards per kickoff return this season) It would have taken 4-5 seconds off the clock, leaving 9 seconds to make plays...it took them 10 seconds to run those to plays to get into position to kick that OT FG. That supposed Bills #1 defense gave up 522 yards of offense in this game. I'd be happy to move on from Frazier on way or another...
  19. I keep reading about how Bills fans want that NY Giants RB, Saquon Barkley. I just don't get why though? The guy has been injured the last three seasons and missed 21 games out of those. Even in his rookie season in which he played all 16 games he averaged 5.0 yards per carry. Singletary averaged 5.1 YPC. Four seasons in the NFL, Barkley's average 5.0, 4.6, 1.8, 3.7. In 2021 Barkley averaged 3.1 yards per carry for the Giants. Singletary averaged 4.6 and has a catch percentage of 80%. First off the Bills don't run the ball enough nowadays to pay top dollar to a supposed elite RB. From my perspective the NY Giants have a bust on their hands at RB with the #2 overall pick of that 2018 NFL draft. Those morons should have draft QB Josh Allen. But hey, I'm so happy they... and the other teams passed on him! Buffalo is so lucky to have that kind of talent at QB. A freaking Unicorn! Even as good as Mahomes is, he can't run like Josh! Anyway, In my view, Buffalo RB Devin Singletary proved he is good enough to get the job done at RB when utilized properly. The Bills OC finally removed his head from his butt the last few games in 2021 and he showed he can get the job done. Spending a high pick or big dollars on a RB would be foolish, IMO. Considering the Bills do need an elite pass rusher. There is a big list of edge rushing free agents in 2022. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-2022-nfl-free-agency-rankings-edge-defenders Vonn Miller 17 mill, Chandler Jones 16.75 mill, Clowney 15 mill, Ogbah 15.5 mill, Melvin Ingram 8 mill. Do the Bills have 8-17 million in cap space to pay one of them?
  20. Geez, Gabe Davis just did something that Jerry Rice never managed to do and that was catch 4 TDs in a playoff game. The Bills have enough talent at WR and if anything need a new OC who can put them all in best position to make plays. Think of how long this season the Bills fans were complaining about how they don't have an O line or decent RB. The last four games proved that wrong in actually getting improved play out of both. Daboll has his good points but has severe limitations too. Doesn't use Knox, Davis nearly enough. Where was Diggs the last two playoff games? Now, looking back at last years SB and how Mahomes was running for his life that entire game. The Bills did manage 2x sacks and 4x QB hits. Yet, it looked like Mahomes wasn't getting harassed nearly enough from the Bills pass rush. Looking at what the Bills were able to do against the Chiefs and Patriots in the playoffs on offense and what the defense wasn't able to do... the Bills need to improve the DC and defense.
  21. The one player the Chiefs have that the Buffalo Bills don't quite yet have is TE Travis Kelce. The guy seems to find ways to get open and he catches everything. However, Buffalo has Dawson Knox, who looks like he close to getting to that level of Kelce. KC has a better D line IMO and their O line looks better. The difference in that playoff game was the 13 seconds. Bills special teams blew that play, along with the defense that didn't cover Kelce or Hill well enough.
  22. Hopefully those two get hired away... Daboll as Giants new HC and Frazier as the Bears new HC. Dorsey for OC The defense is tougher because you don't need someone who will attempt to remake the whole thing. What the Bills already have does work and just needs someone a tad brighter.
  23. Here, here! great season, great games That unbelievable WC beatdown of the Patriots was one for the ages. Then followed up by a great divisional game against a hated rival in Kansas City. Gotta remember we screwed them back in the 90's with Marty S as their HC and Joe Montana at QB. Gotta find a way to beat them in the playoffs. Home field perhaps, those losses to the Steelers, Jags hurt that. Heartbreaking loss. 😭
  24. This wasn't a curse or bad luck...it was bad coaching, period! Squib kick to take time off the clock and make them return the kick. #1 bad mistake. The sole reason for this loss, IMHO. Leaving the Chiefs two best receivers open was a killer mistake.
