  1. Good stuff as usual Virgil. My take is that something clicked during the halftime of that Bucs game and this team simply hasn't been the same since. Perhaps it was McD placing his foot repeatedly in certain spots. Perhaps it was the team knowing that they were better then they showed in that first half (embarrassed)and came out fighting and haven't stopped. I'd like to think that Josh Allen took the pro bowl snub to heart...but then, he played lights out in the second half of that Bucs game too. Allen is developing into a upper echelon superstar QB, like Montana, Rodgers. Took the check downs, throwaways, underneath routes. Took what the defense gave him...and gave that #1 Patriots defense all they could handle. Lil Dirty, what a game! Interesting that Frazier his changed out of his "nickle" scheme to replace the DBs with some run stuffers. WHAT? Nobody talking about how the Bills need to replace the RBs, O linemen this week? This game made my year so far and on par with Hoodie throwing the phone in last years game.
  2. Let's face it...this is the 2021 Buffalo Bills super bowl. No other game will have this much impact on their season with their hated division rivals. Last game against NE... Old smiley was actually smiling for the first time ever... and hugging his assistant coaches. eff that! I'd love to see a repeat of that 2020 game in NE... Besides, last weeks game might just be a precursor with Singletary rushing 22 times for 86 yards and 1 TD. I hope the Bills pound the rock against NE...40 times for 250+ yards. Both NE RBs are hurting.
  3. Considering that the Bills only scored 6 points against the 1-6 Jacksonville Jaguars who fielded the 30th ranked defense at the time...I'm happy the Bills won! I'm also happy New England lost to the Colts this weekend. I'll be elated should the Bills beat the Patriots IN New England next weekend.
  4. Love to see the Patriots lose!!
  5. Not really, they only allowed Taylor 3.9 yards per carry before that big run, now 5.9
  6. Just goes to show what a stout run game can do...pair that with Allen and you have an unstoppable team.
  7. OH YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Jeez, the Colts get no pressure
  9. Colts need to run the frikkin ball for 8 min...
  10. How did we lose to these two teams...oh yea...
  11. we...are...spoiled...now
  12. Oh sweet, nice PICK!@!@!
  13. I concur! What happened in the first half...3 points to 24 and things looked hopeless while Allen under relentless pressure, sacked 3x. Lots have commented that McD read the riot act to both his DC & OC at the half. Suddenly, the Bills found a run game with their crappy O line and RBs. That suddenly found run game allowed the line to give Allen time in the pocket. Something that we should have been seeing from the start of the season!! Would that second half have happened with any other QB? A lot of Josh Allen heroics in that game and he came up limping. Excuse me for wanted to see Buffalo keep Allen in the pocket and let the RBs take the hits.
  14. If I'm not mistaken, Kirby Jackson let it be known that Daboll is currently one of the highest paid OC's in the NFL.
  15. Let me ask, did the Tampa defense let up in the second half against that Chiefs in the super bowl? Or, did they keep after him all game long and make him look like a chicken with it's head cut off...all...game...long! Tampa Bay game, Bills QB Josh Allen was sacked 3x in that first half, 12 of 20 for 130 yards, 43 rush yards and Allen being the sole Buffalo rusher. So much pressure on Allen even when the Bucs don't blitz. 24-3 and things looked hopeless for Buffalo. That first series in the second half by Buffalo, the Bills tried to get the ball out quicker and on 4th down...fake punt! What a disaster! The next series the first play the Bills ran Singletary off RT for a 29 yard run and right where the CB #23 was blitzing from, Mitch Morse took out two defenders on that long run. Next play a quick out to Diggs. So what happened in the second half? Tampa didn't let up on defense as they kept up the pressure just like in the SB. Quick passes to Bease worked, screen didn't work, screen did work. Allen rushes for a TD! Spencer Brown pancaking a Buc on one play! The Bills started running the ball!!! When the run game works... it stops the all out blitzing. Suddenly the Bills offensive line doesn't look so bad...suddenly the Buffalo RB's don't look so bad as those two units have been getting most of the blame all season. Suddenly, because the Bills are successfully running the ball by the RB's and the QB... it also gives Allen more time in the pocket because the Bucs now need to be concerned with the run. Where was this all season? Buc's fans, Buc's players and Buc's ownership were all crapping their pants and the end of that OT game. This was against the 9-3 SB Champs in Tampa! P.S. Think the Bills should have been targeting Cole Beasley more this year? Tony Romo marveling about how good Josh Allen's arm is...he is thinking that the Buffalo Bills are downright crazy calling QB runs when you have a QB with an arm like that...
  16. I agree. Dunno what's with Bills fans but that 6 point offensive performance by Buffalo against the 1-6 Jags with the 30th ranked defense in week 9 should have sealed the deal for me about his future in Buffalo. Like others have mentioned I think McD read both Frazier and Daboll the riot act at half time of that Buc's game...things changed!! McD took over play calling for the defense... and suddenly the Buffalo offense found a run game. What's most interesting to me was the way the Bills ran right at Tampa's rushers... or the spot where they were... once they went by the line. While not running the ball by a RB in the entire first half of that game...Singletary went 4 rushes for 29 yards, 3 first downs. That's a 13.0 YPC AVG. Where was this all season? So, the Bills can run the ball... and the RBs are not horrid...and the O line is not horrid. Suddenly the offense was working like it did for most of last season. Strange stuff against the world Champs. The Bills still came up short because of their red zone problems that have plagued them all season. It remains to be seen if the Bills can win out against Carolina, NE, Atlanta and the NY Jets and finish 11-6. If they do then perhaps McD won't can the guy! However, that might be enough to get him hired away...cheers!
  17. What do you like about it? The fact that the team can go pass happy on crappy teams with no pass rush, Jets, Miami... This Bills offense scored ONLY 6 points against a horrid 1-6 Jaguars team that was fielding the 30th ranked defense at that time! Beaten 10-6... That loss should stick in Bills history forever as they could be 8-5 right now! Think about how many games this team could have won with a decent running attack. Not to mention settling for field goals? Steelers loss 16-23...3 field goals, 18 points lost Titans loss 31-34...3 field goals, 18 points lost Jaguars loss 6-10...2 field goals, 11 points lost Patriots loss 10-14...2 field goals, one missed. 11 points lost Buccaneers loss 27-33, 2 field goals 11 points lost. That last field goal with 25 seconds left in the fourth quarter would have probably won the game right there if it were a TD. The Bills are currently 18th in red zone TD percentage @ 58.93 % and that is up from the last few games where they were 46.5%. That last percentage put them last on the NFL for awhile. But, But the Buffalo Bills can't run the ball...BS! Devin Singletary in that Bucs game went 4 for 52 for 3 first downs for a 13.0 YPC AVG. Now, we all saw what that rushing did in taking advantage of the Bucs pass rush... and ran right past where the rusher was coming from!! The O line is good enough...the RB's are good enough! Where has that been all season...its the scheme that has been bad and that's on the Bills OC!!
  18. AND, one of 6 who might be hired as the new Jags HC... "Brian Daboll, offensive coordinator, Buffalo Bills." "The Bills made Daboll their offensive coordinator in 2018, where he has done a tremendous job of turning Josh Allen into a reliable and consistent NFL quarterback — not to mention fielding one of the NFL’s better offenses despite the fact that the Bills have no discernible run game. Daboll was a hot name last year, and though the Bills have cooled off on both sides of the ball recently, his ears are probably burning right now. If you’re sensing a trend that we want a quarterback developer in Jacksonville for Mr. Lawrence, you are correct." https://www.yahoo.com/sports/6-potential-replacements-urban-meyer-130507698.html
  19. I dislike the guy already with his crappy game plans and play calls. Look at Tom Brady and his clean uniform while Josh Allen looks like he was in a real war... Josh Allen has a special arm that very few NFL QBs have and he shouldn't be running the ball by designed run plays by the doofus who can't get a normal run game going. Like Bruce Arians stated a about Brady running...that'll be enough of that sh!t!! Daboll sucks as his past record indicates... and he has been riding Josh Allen...who is making him look like he knows what he is doing. I swear, if that moron gets Allen hurt/disabled before he gets his arse fired...
  20. Upon further reflection...Bucs fans and ownership were crapping their pants in that OT.
  21. The one thing that bothers me most about this game... and there were plenty of things in this game! Red zone TD scoring. The 2021* Buffalo Bills are currently ranked 18th in the league. Currently at 58.93% and that is up from their last 3 games were they were 46.5%. Last season I believe they were close to #1 for awhile and settled in at #12. The Bills score a TD when it's 3rd and 2 at the TB 7 yard line... or even go for it on fourth down instead of a field goal. If the Bills get a TD there I doubt even miracle worker Brady gets a TD with 22 seconds or less left in the game. I'll be happy when I see the door hitting Dabs on his way out... Lastly, What happened with Diggs in this game, along with Sanders and did the offense do better after Sanders left the game? Targeting Bease, Davis more often? Agree!
  22. What a heart in that young man. A damn shame he doesn't have better talent around him.
  23. GD... what a freaking game... IN Tampa...against the SB Champs. Did we fire everyone yet?
