  1. I mean, it is worth considering that mcbeane have a locker room philosophy that they believe can result in sustained success. I haven't seen anything to indicate otherwise. Obviously that costs some amount of natural talent, but I would also say at the same time their focus is developing talent. We see a lot of high ceiling people brought in here including Josh. Also, the whole thing is silly. These guys are working with each other, and by all appearances are in lock step. Decisions are team decisions and we're just not in the room.
  2. I mean, if his name wasn’t Amari Cooper no one would really care if we let him walk after last season. I always thought the plan was to recoup some of what we spent on him from a comp pick
  3. Even if it's as common as speeding I still agree with your original point. And just like speeding it's there for good reason and there are degrees to it. I think there's definitely conversations that go on that can be very close to tampering, and then there's just straight up offering a player terms.
  4. I think you misspelled jets
  5. I am, but then we would be carrying a bunch of dead cap over into the next season.
  6. goes from 15mil to 9m
  7. Saves 20 mil next year
  8. Yeah, but we also cut our deadcap by another 6, so it's more like 3 mil
  9. I had assumed that we would cut him after this year but . . . We only save 9 mil by cutting him. He started to play fairly well towards the end of the season. How easy is it to replace his production at that price? If he stays another year his deadcap goes from 15m to 9m.
  10. They've been wanting to run all year, even built their roster around the idea. Sometimes things happen. We have 8 turnovers on the year. I don't think they changed what it is they want to do other than adjustments on a week to week basis based on the matchup.
  11. Lot of talk about how the Chiefs aren't that good and are getting lucky, but I would say that stat alone proves that hypothesis wrong. By the only category that matters, this is the best Chiefs team ever.
  12. anytime you're inside the 30? Even inside the 40 a touchback is a pretty good outcome.
  13. If you don't put a guy back there, they'll kick a 60-70 line drive every time.
  14. Insanely high for a punter, anybody know what the issues were with him? can he hold????
  15. Nothing says bad coaching like having one of the largest dead caps in history, getting rid of all your captains and getting the two seed.
  16. I'd say it's Shakir before Cooper, but I think the real answer is Josh just has to run it.
  17. It’s not just the cold but the wind, weather has affected most home games and we still have the most impactful quarter to go
  18. Gosh, it's like he knew he had an issue at wr all year and never addressed it
  19. remember when this used to come with free tickets, was hoping for some cheap ones in bad weather, but I guess the only option is at the pats
