  1. it was a joke since we traded most of this drafts capital on such receiver
  2. Getting a young proven #1 receiver on a cheap contract.
  3. Maybe we already have our RB2 and fans just don't know it yet.
  4. Maybe Thomas is good enough that he doesn't rely on the refs not flagging him
  5. McCoy didn't do anything here to qualify him for best of the decade. Very good for season, sure, good for another 2 absolutely. He also put up some dud stats at the end.
  6. I would say it proves the opposite. What McCoy and Gore did to get on that list wasn't done in Buffalo. And the same goes for Lynch and Peters. It's almost like we've been unable to get the most out of the players we draft, and have had to rely on the professionalism of players in their twilight looking for their jacket. Thank God those days are over!
  7. I thought they bumped it up to 55 or 58 or something. Maybe that's only when the new cba kicks in?
  8. We get more than 53 immediately though?
  9. Not sure the window has to close if you build it right. Just have to stay disciplined on the money side.
  10. All I know is I wouldn't want to be in a room with fitz.
  11. Maybe coaching is more happy with one of the backs than we think.
  12. They're going to bring a lot more to camp than that. I'm sure they will bring in people who they think can try and compete.
  13. Even if there is no improvement from here on out, it would be hard to say that it didn't work out. A starting QB on their first contract is a beautiful thing, and we just went to the playoffs . . . again.
  14. In a deep wide receiver class I didn't really want to use my first pick on one.
  15. I think ownership wants a tear down and future capital. No way Tepper cares about fantasy football.
  16. Whatever second day pick they take in the draft. Remember that time they won with Jacoby Brissett and played him again injured before putting him on IR. Special day that.
  17. T.O. When they gave him the key to the city on a one year deal I died inside. I know its not his fault we embarrassed ourselves. But sometimes . . . I wonder if T.O. isn't exactly the kind of person who might demand such a thing in his contract . . . Also, where is Kyle Williams key to the city?
  18. I expect them to roll over more next year than they did this year. Cap space isn't just about who you can sign with it, it's about what it allows for you to do not just now but whenever the opportunity presents itself.
  19. I like over 34.5 yds quite a bit. They seem to run a lot more when it matters and this one matters.
  20. Most Forbes lists are not very rigorous. Often just a single piece of data from publicly available information. Most of their richest person lists are created using the sum of stock value without examining debts or other assets. They will sometimes make adjustments if people complain and offer evidence but this rarely happens.
  21. Just answering a question in my own time.
  22. Its the arm moving forward down the field.
  23. Gene Steratore said the standard is whether the arm is moving forward, not whether the ball is moving forward. Can see from both of the passes that the rule as written was upheld. It seems unintuitive but it also seems like the easiest way to get consistent play calling.
  24. Our silicon friends appreciate you noticing.
