  1. Cowboys last year too (not included in the list on the link).
  2. I have found it funny that lead into the game was that Ravens have a better roster AND they circled this game so will give it their best shot. Then after the game its still Ravens gave it their best shot for 3.5 quarters and have a better roster. I just dont understand how you can think they are clearly a better roster and played better for 3.5 quarters but lost. Something has to give there.
  3. Didnt say the game plan prioritizes cook over josh allen. I do disagree that cook has only took over 1 game. Most of the time he takes over its a rout and they stop feeding him (he only has 3 games with over 20 rushing attempts!!!). I do think lots of teams (especially after last year) think stopping the run is the way to make Josh one dimensional and get after him. So yes I think teams game plan around James Cook (the original comment). No team has a game plan against one thing or else you end up like Dallas a few years ago (didnt game plan for the run and couldnt adjust from having a safety play Will) or Seahawks (didnt plan for so many passes and routinely found themselves in bad matchup ala Adams man coverage on Diggs).
  4. Probably should be an exception for the back of the endzone and QBs outside the pocket. WR near the back line is not nearly as much of a blocking threat as someone near the sideline (where the outside the pocket rule would apply most often). Otherwise coaches should teach to push WR out the back against us. This rule has the potential to take away a lot of good plays (like this 2 pt play).
  5. Teams definitely game plan around cook since the cowboy games two years ago. Also a sorta silly comment. Thats like saying teams dont game plan around the bills running game which is one of the best in the league. You absolutely game plan around how yorue gonna defend cook in the run game (probably commit an extra defender for him vs Johnson, Davis). Its not like hes some dude who gets a touch everyone once in a while.
  6. Besides what’s been mentioned I’m taking Milano over Simpson. Definitely Torrence over faalele and maybe even Edward’s. Did y’all miss where ed blew up their entire iOL. This is really much closer than peeps are giving credit (besides Safety and MLB the difference is pretty small).
  7. Pro football reference has him with a 82 passer rating when targeted last year which also shows hes not washed at all.
  8. I was encouraged by Javon Solomon getting snaps in this game. Hoping he can make Epensa be expendable at the trade deadline (both had 16 snaps total).
  9. Im interested to see the LB play on the all 22. Henry got through holes untouched if the DL didnt make a play behind the LoS. Makes me think Milano and Bernard were getting washed (maybe cause DL in front of them wasnt holding up). Some bad angles taken by Safeties but Henry having a full head of steam makes me think the LBs werent doing enough.
  10. Heard he was playing better the last few weeks which would be good cause he was not doing well against the run in the bears game. Bears ran the same play back to back plays at the goaline and he didnt replace the crack block on either (second time WR actually stuck his nose in and hit Lewis which led to a TD).
  11. With Gauff (tennis), Ohtani (Baseball), Leonard (bball), and Mchlaughlin-Levrone (Track) and now Josh, I think NB has my favorite athletes.
  12. Forgot about Travis Jones. Really wanted him a couple years ago. Feeling ok with Deonte Walker now but yeah Jones is really solid against the run.
  13. agree would be shocked if they stay 3 safeties if we go 23. sorry didnt really separate my thoughts there well. i do think buffalo will go big and agree itll be fun to see that chess match cause the playoffs suggest buffalo will do it.
  14. Agree hes a great player and I enjoy watching him a lot. I think im still picking on LB2 or S3, either running against dime or targeting LB2 in coverage. Hamilton is great in the box but thats getting pretty small if both him and humphrey have to play the run. Question in that scenario is can the DL win their match ups to stymie the run. I think yall have good odds at doing that but will be interesting part of the chess match. I also truely wonder what personnel get put out if Bills go 23 personnel (Cook, Gilliam, Kincaid, Knox, Hawes). They could easily have pass tag with any run if they they see goal line personnel. Gilliam (our FB) gets less targets than Ricard but they did have something schemed up for him in the preseason. Alec Andersson (6th OL) played 20% (gilliam 18%) of the snaps in the playoffs last year so I do think going big is a strategy we have in mind.

  16. Did you black out two years ago after we lost to KC?
  17. Agree twitch can go. TO and rice and many others were great technicians and got separation based on being deceptive on their route. You can also use physicality to get separation but Coleman hasn’t quite learned that yet.
  18. Maybe. Im not sure. Lots of WR have faded very quickly with that style. Separation is often key. Many ways to get that besides being twitchy. If you can get separation from your technique you can have a longer career than being twitchy or a jump ball maven
  19. Yeah not disagreeing with you per se. Just pointing to a different stat. I would say they are more open on average but as poster above said thats because of what Lamar and Henry do. Also I agree on your point about on target %. Fun thing for both teams is they really rely on game script it feels like and thats really the story of the two different games. One team got behind early and couldnt get dig their way out by the end of the game.
  20. Yards of separation is what you want. Shakir and Samuel are good for Buff (Kincaid too), but the rest of the WR were bad (coleman was worst in this database). Likely is super high and Andrew is just a tic above Kincaid. Flowers and Batemen are way above other Bills WR though. Mark andrews is the lowest for BAL at 3.6 (big gap for us between Kincaid at 3.5 and the 3 low ones; Hollins, Cooper, Coleman)
  21. That’ll be interesting against the run. I think both teams wanna be physical. He’s got 44 in 6 years as a full time FB. It’s less than I thought. I must’ve mixed him up with ingold. Is worth noting that’s 4 times as many rushes as he has during the same time. Does have almost 90 passer rating when throwing to him. So respectable there too. Pretty funny variance as a receiver. On 64 targets he has 7 TDs and 3 INt.
  22. Maybe i got distracted by the first line that said stealing is stealing and is ethically and morally wrong. Did you not mean that to be your thesis? You said theres no moral ambiguity which i fundamentally disagree. Ill be over here with aladdin and jasmine and you can hang with jafar and iago cause there are def times where stealing can be morally right.
  23. Ricards ability to run a route though is his secret weapon. Easy to put a big guy back there to hit people. But not being one dimensional when you do that is the challenge. Ricard had to be respected in the passing game.
  24. So LB on Kincaid? Pretty excited to see if Buff comes out in 23 personnel. Would a great flip of the script. Besides Hawes I feel good about all those player running a route but also just mauling peeps
  25. Ingram is my preference for this game at CB2 cause of his size and athleticism better tackling than Tre (admittedly a low bar).
