  1. Just going off who Isabella was as a college prospect, I had him head and shoulders over his main roster spot competition Shorter (honestly Shorter was an UDFA level player for me). I don’t think the Bills will keep a street FA over Shorter this year though - it’s just not their style. The only way it happens is if Isabella proves himself amazing at PR to make it more valuable than keeping a gunner like Shorter or even Shavers. As silly as it may seem sometimes, WR6 has to be worth it on special teams for this organization. Hopefully we can keep both Isabella and Shavers on the PS if they go this route. But def rooting for him to show enough to make the team.
  2. Not a big loss based on what I have read from camp
  3. In 2011, Gronk and Hernandez were on the field for 94% and 77% of the snaps respectively https://www.espn.com/blog/boston/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4717950/final-offensive-snap-counts The 2015 Panthers with both McDermott and Dorsey may be the best example of what this season could look like as Olson and the inferior Ed Dixon were on the field for 95% and 54% of snaps. Knox is and I expect Kincaid will be better than Dixon ever was. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2015-snap-counts.htm It is a relatively small sample because it is pretty rare a team has enough tight ends good enough to be worthwhile to have them on the field. It is cool to think about the possibilities. I don’t think Kincaid has to be amazing this year either to be nearly as successful as the two teams that made the Super Bowl of this list. The Bills also have Josh Allen, Stefan Diggs, Gabe Davis (who would be the best WR2 by a mile on any of the Pats or Panthers team) and James Cook who I think his home run ability on the ground will be a crucial aspect of keeping teams honest this year. At full health this team is stacked. Giving us heavier formation looks to improve the running game, getting 500-700 yards from Kincaid and having some timely catches in the playoffs may be all that is needed from him to make a big difference this year.
  4. He is 19 wins away from passing Shula for most wins of all time (regular season and post season combined). I think they give him 2 more seasons to break that and then ride off barring a huge collapse this season.
  5. I don’t think Kincaid ran pre draft because of his back injury. But he said he would have run a 4.5 for what that is worth. Dude is definitely fast looking.
  6. He would be as close to a Beasley replacement as there is, but I think he would likely end up in New Orleans or elsewhere on a bigger contract than we could offer. Kincaid/Shakir/Hardy will be our slot players this year.
  7. I don’t have a PlayStation or XBox but I will probably buy a copy too hah
  8. I’m certainly not against signing Ed long term like this, but I think letting him play out his contract year and then having the franchise tag in your pocket if he popped was the best move. The justification for doing this now would be if we were making more cap room to add a DHop or other piece whatever that may be. But I think they just value him more than most on the board do.
  9. You would assume since they are getting more games, just haven’t heard anything like that being reported.
  10. I liked the Chiefs fan bankrobber running away from the cops hahah
  11. Does anyone know what changed that there is now four MNF doubleheaders when it was normally one?
  12. That would be about as good as it could be, extra time to prepare for the Bengals and Chiefs
  13. 35-4 includes his FCS production
  14. He was at UCF last month
  15. All Kentucky Derbys have been downhill since they banned Wes Welker.
  16. Terrible judgement by Watson as usual. This was reported on last year when it happened
  17. I think it’s actually possible. I think he has 3 more games than Ditka did. Also, Kincaid has a winning combination of being a great receiver, the team not concerned about him being a good blocker and an excellent QB and passing offense.
  18. This is where losing Tremaine really hurts lol
  19. this is so true, doubt he would even be picked up by another team so you could keep him on practice squad or speed dial
  20. lol that’s the journalism you get when everyone is trying to break all info
  21. Beane is doing a Q&A with club seat STHs
  22. Im starting to relax a bit too. I was upset at the pick because I watched him pre-draft and he just isn’t going to be a good starting LB right away. He just gets swallowed by blockers and so tries to go around them and misses his gaps at times. However, he is a natural athlete with real speed and has nearly 34 inch arms. With those tools he can develop into a good player which is probably why initially they said he would be a backup. My biggest concern was not getting a player that could contribute early or backup a more important position (OT, DT, WR, etc) but looking at how the board fell, there were only a few players left that I thought could really help there. What we missed out on wasn’t that great. So this is a play for future upside coming out of a crappy draft. I think it still was not an optimal use of the pick, but I don’t think it is an abject disaster.
