  1. Fact. and yes, that PI call on Robey still kind of upsets me. Fact or fiction? - The Defense wasn't on the field for 2 of the Jaguars' TDs. I get that you were trolling. I just wish you picked a better game as an example, because they exist and that one isn't one of them.
  2. That game is quite possibly the worst example to prove your point. EJ scored 20 of the Jaguars' 34 points, which Tyrod doesn't do. And the Defense scored 7 of our 31, which was the reason we took the lead in the game.
  3. We saw him in it for a year. He was serviceable for sure. I wonder how he'd fare with a better run game but worse receiving targets (essentially our situation). I'm still of the opinion that our O is going to look more like 2015 Seattle's than 2016 Denver's.
  4. Yeah. That Pick-6 our D got to retake the lead really took the wind out of our sails
  5. To be fair, over the past 2 years Tyrod has been the best QB on the team, the 2nd best RB on the team, and if asked to play it he'd probably be the 2nd best WR on the team (especially in a slot type role).
  6. I feel like you could do a very similar analysis for the Bills with similar results
  7. I know he didn't list him, but Orton was 7-5 haha. Closest to the same success, but not sustained over 1 season, let alone 29 games.
  8. I think you mean #19 overall
  9. I wonder how many will say the Bills are an excuse for their alcoholism
  10. Here's the issue with this list: Matt Stafford (the guy who had 8 4th Quarter Comebacks in 2016) is 21st on that ranking. 1 spot above Tyrod and 1 spot below Brian Hoyer. Clearly there is something wrong with the algorithm. Osweilier is 15, Brady is 14, and Kaep is 4...
  11. they finally installed microsoft office on those sideline surfaces?
  12. I'd prefer if he were booked to be released in September.
  13. S > DE > TE > LB > WR
  14. 1st pick in the draft is between Browns & Jets (both 1-15) Bills at 10-6 break tie with Colts due to head to head win in week 14.
  15. Vegas has the line at Bills -1.5, so they seem to think that most people believe the Bills will win, barely. You should probably let them know that they're wrong and most people believe the Broncos will win so they don't lose too much money.
  16. What? You don't think the number of drives effects the total TOP? We scored 0.264 TDs/Drive (6th) and 0.109 FGs/Drive (28th). We also scored 2.18 Points per Drive. As far as drive killers go, we had 0.218 3&Outs per Drive (20th) & we had 0.069 Turnovers per Drive (3rd). Added together that's 0.287 Drive Killers per Drive (4th). So yes, we held onto the ball pretty well relative to the league. I wonder how much the FG rank moves if we factor out misses for everyone, but I don't feel like doing the work right now.
  17. I could be wrong, but I feel like it has to happen less in the NFL than the NBA. Mostly because in the NBA you have 5 starters who play on both offense and defense. In the NFL you've got 22 instead of 5, so generally people don't go to see a specific individual, though I'm sure it still happens.
  18. The Bills were 18th in the NFL in TOP/Drive (2:43). Ahead of the Seahwaks, Giants, Raiders and Dolphins (1/3 of the Playoff Teams). Patriots* - 2:51 Chiefs - 2:51 Steelers - 2:48 Texans - 2:50 Raiders - 2:40 Dolphins - 2:30 Cowboys - 3:03 Packers - 2:58 Falcons - 2:54 Seahawks - 2:39 Giants - 2:26 Lions - 3:10
  19. Woods was an excellent blocker, no doubt. He was a decent route runner when he wasn't stumbling, has average speed and decent hands. He often times actively engaged in blocking before Tyrod decided to run, which forced Tyrod's decision. We will certainly see how well he fares now that he's in an offense that passes more than 28 times per game. I'd love to see you back up the bolded statement, btw. Here's an excerpt from an article about why NFL Teams should use more play-action.
  20. Isn't he 3-2 without Shady?
  21. Maybe I'm experiencing BBFS, but I took that tweet as a guarantee he'll play 16 games rather than the SB.
  22. Even if we ignore anything to do with on field production and marketing that are difficult to quantify, he averages about $2M per year in jersey sale revenue. And I'd imagine that alone is enough for my earlier statement to be true.
  23. None. I'm at work. I did take an English class once, though. You're saying he should quit instead of staying in an oppressive environment, which is a statement he never made. He didn't say 'I don't make enough to do this'. You might have inferred that for some reason, but it's not what he said. Now where Sammy went wrong here is he decided to compare across sports. It'd be like me searching for Engineer instead of being more specific on salary dot com. He shouldn't compare NFL to NBA or MLB just like I shouldn't compare Civil Engineering to Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  24. I suppose I don't understand your point then. You do understand that saying you should earn more is a different argument than saying you don't earn enough, right? It's a subtle difference, I know.
