  1. Attempts will go up, but not as much as some people think. Tyrod has averaged just over 28 pass attempts per game. He's just shy of 31 per game if you include plays resulting in sacks. I expect those numbers to bump up to about 32 and 35 respectively. I do not expect to see 35 pass attempts per game.
  2. I'd like to see him push his Yards per Touch back up to about 6.5, his TD% to about 4.8%, and keep his Turnover% at 2.5% or less. I'd like to see him be handed the reigns and run an effective 2 minute drill at a proper pace. I'd like to see him make some decisions based on pre-snap matchups and deliver the ball on a timing route in 2s or less to exploit a mismatch.
  3. So Dawkins might start out TC at LT then, I'd assume.
  4. I mean, that dates back to the Manning/Rivers draft shenanigans even.
  5. You might make that case with Baltimore, but certainly not the Chargers. First of all, nobody cares how the team was 15 years ago let alone 5 or even 3. Where does the team stand now, and what do I bring to that equation? Baltimore has a distinct edge from a FO stability side of things, but it hasn't resulted in a significant difference in the W/L column. At the end of the day, the 3 teams combined have made the playoffs 3 times in the last 5 years. That's 3 of a possible 15. And none of the teams have made the playoffs since 2014. As far as cumulative records go, you have to go back 4 years for the Ravens to be better and more than 5 for the Chargers. Over the past 5 years: Bills have gone 36-44 Chargers have gone 34-46 with a playoff appearance in 2013 with a record of 9-7 Ravens have gone 41-39 with both playoff appearances coming off a record of 10-6
  6. I was at the 2011 Pats* game. I honestly can't remember if it was incredibly loud or utterly silent. I think it was patches of both, honestly. The lingering memory I do have from that game was the majority of the stands not emptying after the game. Everyone took their time absorbing what had actually transpired on the field that day.
  7. True, he doesn't get much hate. I just think he is better than he gets credit for sometimes.
  8. I suppose you mean just this year? Their combined wins in 2015 was 11 Their combined wins in 2014 was 16
  9. Agree with Aaron Schobel. Maybe I just undersell him in my head, but Antoine Winfield is a name I'll toss out there.
  10. Marino, Moon, Tarkenton
  11. If he's healthy I'm sure he'll do okay. Shanahan turned Gabriel into a legit threat in ATL. Didn't our D force like 8 turnovers in those 2 games? That Jets team couldn't do anything right. EDIT: I was thinking 2014 with the Orton games. Although, the 2013 game did involve Geno throwing 3 INTs and losing a Fumble EJ had a solid day though 20/28 for 245 and 2 TDs, no turnovers.
  12. I'm sorry, but offenses do not score nearly as consistently as the Bills have over the past 2 years with incompetent QB play. We were 7th in the NFL in TDs per drive in 2015 and 6th in 2016.
  13. I would argue that you've already seen a competent QB. You're looking for great or elite maybe?
  14. 84% of Florida's population is made up of people who retired there from Buffalo. I'm almost positive.
  15. This one's on Tyrod, though I can't guarantee it'll be on social media.
  16. I had it all in a spreadsheet of all the QBs (26) who meet minimum criteria (18+ starts, 500+ attempts) over the past 2 years, so it wasn't too difficult
  17. Over the past 2 years Tannehill has the edge in YPG by 10.4 Yards (258.9 - 248.5). Tyrod has the edge in TD/G (1.62 vs 1.55), TD/TO Ratio (3.36 vs 1.50), Yards per Touch (6.22 vs 6.14), TD% (4.30% vs 4.02%), and TO% (1.28% vs 2.68%).
  18. They have a relationship, albeit not an exceptionally close one.
  19. Does he wind up getting the same treatment as Maclin/Barnidge?
  20. He and Beane want to be the NFL's version of Theo Epstein, maybe?
  21. Nice story OP. Cool to see Bills Mafia is all over the place. Yeah. It's the OP's perspective. I'm not going to argue just because it differs from my own. I grew up with a father in law enforcement, so I follow all the standard courtesy steps every time I'm pulled over. - Turn on interior lights - Window down and hands on wheel by the time they're at your door - Ask before reaching for or opening anything (wallet in back pocket, registration in glove box, etc.) - Try to make small talk, refer to them by Officer *insert name from uniform*
  22. I hope he has a great camp too, but Tyrod isn't looking over his shoulder.
