  1. I think it'll be QB in the first (assuming there's one worth taking at our pick) and the other 1st will be LB only if Roquon Smith is there, otherwise it'll be a DL/EDGE player that can push the pocket or rush the passer.
  2. More plausible to get Rudolph and Ateman and use the other 1st on a ILB or EDGE.
  3. Maybe Teddy would step it up, but at this point he's a guy who also averages ~200 yards per game with a bad TD%. It'd be all the same complaints imo. If we're going with a FA/Vet to start for a bit I think the options to pursue are Cousins, Smith, Keenum, or Bortles. If the vet is a safety net for our rookie then I don't really care who it is. Bradford, Bridgewater, McCown, Fitz, Hoyer, whatever.
  4. Take off the nostalgia goggles. Bridgewater was never close to Cousins and really performed mostly around Tyrod's level but without the rushing.
  5. Or that Miami was a team to watch out for and would be in the playoffs.
  6. Again, I don't point to talent on the field for most games (outside of reasoning for pass distribution). But in that Cincy game I don't see any QB outside of Brady or Rodgers having success with that group on the field. It was absolutely pathetic and a complete indictment on our FO. No coincidence that immediately after that game they went out and got Thompson, and it was also still lingering in Beane's mind when he traded for KB.
  7. If you could pick any opponent for a national audition it'd probably be Miami. In his previous 5 games he has been very, very good against them.
  8. Do you remember who else was on offense for us that game? I can't wait to find a QB who will move our offense with Nick O'Leary, Zay Jones (before he remembered how to catch), Brandon Tate, Kaelin Clay, and Logan Thomas. As soon as Charles Clay got hurt that day I looked at the rest of the people at my table and said we wouldn't score again.
  9. After last night I honestly think he will be their pick. Rudolph, imo, checked a lot of Beane's boxes throughout the game. He had a slow start, but overcame that to have a very solid game against a secondary that, while it doesn't have any 1st round players, has 3 or 4 guys that I can see going between rounds 3 and 6. He extended some plays and showed more mobility than he had in the past. He performed in a high profile game. He has the size they appear to like. They may love Darnold, but to me the real question now is do they love him so much more that they are willing to give up 2 more 1sts and a couple day 2 picks for him vs what they'd need to get Rudolph.
  10. And the Edmunds Brothers (LB & S), and Facyson, Alexander, and Stroman (CBs)
  11. Must be similar for GB, right?
  12. Yes. Yes, I think the Bengals pull one out for Lewis' last game. I'm iffy on this, but I say no. Next week? Yes. Next Spring? Less certain. If OC goes, OL probably does as well. Otherwise no. No.
  13. In hindsight they really should have skipped the space mary poppins scene. I mean, they should have skipped it anyway, but knowing what we do now it makes even more sense to let her go there.
  14. Wentz was under pace. Watson was on pace, but didn't even get through half the season.
  15. Really? If you're waiting for Cam Newton's 2015 MVP Season or Aaron Rodgers' 2016 Season you're going to be waiting a while. Those are the only 2 QBs in the past 3 years. Nobody is on pace to get there this year.
  16. I think half of it is Zay alone, seriously. 71 Targets, 25 Catches. Where did you get your numbers by the way? Because Pro Football Reference has them with 299 WR targets, 97 RB targets, and 476 total targets. That put him at 62.8% to WR, and 20.4% to RB. Great math lesson!
  17. Your point was that Tyrod throws to Shady too much instead of wide receivers. Then you established that a competent QB only throws to their RB 18% of the time. I point out that Tyrod had done that 2 of his 3 years, his first 2 years as a starter, and it makes your point? Okay, carry on. PS: Do you think his reluctance to throw to WRs this year has anything to do with 91 catches on 185 targets? Yikes! Did a double-check to see the updated numbers. 219 WR targets, 109 catches
  18. So you're saying Tyrod used to be competent and forgot how to play?
  19. Bills 27 Dolphins 17 Jags 28 Titans 20 Bengals 23 Ravens 21 Chargers 34 Raiders 24
  20. Considering he has more targets and catches than McCoy he'd lead our team, no? And what competent QB would throw to their RB that much instead of Woods and Sammy?
  21. You should take a look at the Rams offense, which has been spectacular this year. Gurley is 2nd in Targets, Receptions, Receiving Yards, and Receiving TDs.
  22. Teams generally target their best player, no? If our best WR throughout the season has been the 3rd or 4th best weapon on the field it's a roster problem. Remember last offseason when everyone complained that Tyrod only threw to WRs and didn't know how to utilize a TE? Ah how times change...
  23. The average is 15.28, with the best being Carr at 6.36 and the worst being Gabbert at 28.40. I might if your BS scenario at the end had any merit. There are plenty of advanced stats showing average depth of target out there. You might want to reference them.
  24. It was right before, yes. Still, Nix was the GM. Not sure if he was at the game or not.
