  1. Calvin Ridley, James Washington, Anthony Miller are at the top of my wishlist and all can be had at different points in the draft.
  2. Why is it just him though? That's the Question. No other WR on our roster has below a 50% catch rate, let alone 50% uncatchable balls.
  3. My main critique is that he dove like an idiot and got himself concussed. He threw 10 passes, mostly because of the weather (I think Tyrod threw like 25 in the entire Pittsburgh game), and our only successful drive that people seem to be toting was set up by back to back 20+ yard runs by McCoy (just like our OT score). Unlike some of your fond memories, his 5 incompletions were not all on the WRs, but 2 were. At the end of the day you simply cannot say he had a good outing and point to a 50% completion 57 yard passing day. You do realize that just because something isn't good it doesn't mean it's awful though, right? I have a hard time believing that anyone with football knowledge watched the Colts game and came away saying "Oh man, Peterman had a good game today!".
  4. If he didn't set a record for INTs in a half he would have a full game under his belt and probably would still be playing...
  5. It's pretty hilarious that people want to say he's had a good outing when he hasn't. Ever. Doesn't mean he can't, but he certainly hasn't at this point. Nice of you to bring up Tyrod, who has nothing to do with Peterman's performances though. Can we wait for Peterman to have a triple digit passing yard performance, or a game with more than 1 TD even before comparing him to anyone?
  6. I'm thinking he didn't want us to actually answer that...
  7. I am legitimately reluctant to see movies with Matt Damon for this exact reason.
  8. Sunday December 17, 2017 against the Miami Dolphins. To end the the first half, the Buffalo offense had an 8 play, 80 yard drive ending in a TD. We got the ball with 2:23 left on the clock and the drive took 1 minute and 50 seconds.
  9. Shouldn't stop Beane from calling with an offer of Glenn and a couple picks!
  10. 5/10 for 57 yards and a concussion is a good outing? I guess compared to 5 INTs in a half it is.
  11. Considering at the time I posted it there were several posters here who wished we had signed Hoyer...
  12. Can I self nominate for Best Prediction? I had CJ Beathard taking over as SF's starter by week 7 and he took over in week 6! Probably not all that impressive since he already lost the job, but I'm happy regardless.
  13. Unfortunately the guys that do have the production are smaller than McD's historical standard DE. Maybe he'll cave and go with production, but I suspect he'll stick to his roots and go with size and versatility. There are certainly a lot of EDGE guys to look at this year though. Landry, Key, Hubbard, Ferrell, Bryant, Sweat, Thomas, Ejiofor, etc.
  14. I want Cousins, but like this is such useless drivel. Yes, 8,653 is barely 4,000. Get a grip. If Tyrod is so bad, why do so many people have to completely over-exaggerate to make the point?
  15. I expect Wilkins to go in the top 10.
  16. I'm on record for saying I think signing Cousins would be our fastest track to winning and I'll stick by it. Obviously the ultimate situation is that you hit on your QB in the draft, regardless of cost, and he stays with you for 15+ years, but that scenario has a lot of ifs and maybes associated with it that will keep it from ever fully coming to fruition. I also don't understand Fahey's point about him taking the 6 yard pass vs the 20 yard pass. Cousins has a career YPA of 7.84, and since he became a starter in 2015 he's been top 10 in YPA every single year. He has been incredibly efficient and maintained that efficiency with a high volume workload.
  17. Depending on the trade up partner you could probably skip the middle man and just dangle Tyrod as part of the deal.
  18. I agree we need pass rush, and I prioritized End because I am not convinced Hughes will be back and Lawson simply doesn't provide pass rush. I think there is some value on day 2 for interior linemen that can do what we need them to, but I've always been of the mind that EDGE is a premium position moreso than DT. Hubbard is a guy who fits McD's physical profile for a DE, but also posesses the versatility to move around the line for some sub packages. Ultimately, Hubbard just seems very much like a McD guy. At the end of the day rankings will adjust between now and April, but I see day 2 as the sweet spot for DTs. I'm not sold enough to go for one in round 1, and I don't like many of the late round prospects either. I also think there are more viable FA options at DT than at DE, which will impact our needs come draft time.
  19. Not to mention Todd Gurley, who has been a monster this year both running and receiving.
  20. Dark Horse for Topic of the Year might be the Maclin/recipe thread.
  21. Well after last night I think it'll look something like this (at this very early point): 18: R1P18: EDGE SAM HUBBARD - OHIO STATE 25: R1P25: QB MASON RUDOLPH - OKLAHOMA STATE 50: R2P18: RB RASHAAD PENNY - SAN DIEGO STATE 60: R2P28: LB OREN BURKS - VANDERBILT 96: R3P32: DL HARRISON PHILLIPS - STANFORD 120: R4P18: WR ANTHONY MILLER - MEMPHIS 157: R5P18: EDGE CHAD THOMAS - MIAMI 166: R5P27: LB KENDALL JOSEPH - CLEMSON 205: R6P27: WR BRAXTON BERRIOS - MIAMI And at this point you're probably seeing a theme in some of the guys that I like this year.
