  1. He was the OC of a top 10 offense that had all if its key pieces in tact. If Lynn didn't get the HC offer he was definitely on the list for OC here.
  2. "We will continue to evaluate and upgrade at every position, Quarterback included."
  3. Well he did in this simulation, so I'll take it.
  4. Indeed, they're probably $5-6M of that $34M.
  5. Estimated $34M in cap space, with 20 roster spots to fill. And that's before we create more holes by tweaking the OL, all of which are under contract in 2018, and getting rid of Tyrod/Glenn/Hughes, etc. There's a decent amount of cap, but there's a lot of holes to fill too.
  6. You understand the difference between Free Agents, being Traded for, and being cut mid-season, right?
  7. I honestly don't see KC looking for an OC. Childress is still there, and will likely just resume playcalling duties as he was previously the Assistant OC I believe.
  8. It reflects poorly on our FO, which created the need to even get Thompson in the first place. I don't think you can look at any of our offensive stats and say it reflects well on Dennison, honestly.
  9. Deonte Thompson was signed off the street in week 6 and started as many games as Matthews did. He was tied for most catches by a WR with Zay Jones, but had 23 fewer targets than Zay, and he had the most receiving yards of any of our WRs by 115 yards. This is a guy who was cut by the Bears, who's biggest weakness going into the draft might just be WR
  10. And for today's installment of completely unrealistic, but please let it happen (Fanspeak board until composite is available on their site): TRADES TRADE PARTNER: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SENT: ROUND: 1 PICK: 21 RECEIVED: ROUND: 1 PICK: 32; ROUND: 2 PICK: 11 22: R1P22: LB ROQUON SMITH - GEORGIA 32: R1P32: QB MASON RUDOLPH - OKLAHOMA STATE 43: R2P11: WR JAMES WASHINGTON - OKLAHOMA STATE 53: R2P21: RB RASHAAD PENNY - SAN DIEGO STATE 56: R2P24: DL TAVEN BRYAN - FLORIDA 95: R3P31: LB OREN BURKS - VANDERBILT 123: R4P21: EDGE DUKE EJIOFOR - WAKE FOREST 160: R5P21: DL JUSTIN JONES - NORTH CAROLINA STATE 165: R5P26: CB ANTHONY AVERETT - ALABAMA
  11. No it was pathetic and so indefensible that you abandoned it for a completely different argument.
  12. At this point he's my realistic choice, with Rosen being the only QB I'd be willing to bet the farm on. I wouldn't be surprised if he won the job in camp either, depending on who else we bring in.
  13. Trolling is generally entertaining. Yesterday's and today's posts were just sad.
  14. Don't know if this staff buys into the Parcells rules, but Rudolph checks all of his boxes even if some find him uninspiring.
  15. Yeah, God forbid a young QB develops Tyrod's habits for working out, preparation, and professionalism just like Tyrod learned them from Flacco. Vet QBs aren't teaching rookies throwing mechanics, that'd be the QB coach and OC.
  16. Again, 2 years would mean he's signing a new deal. We'll have to see if he's open to that and what he would even accept. Something tells me he's looking more at a 3 year $65M deal.
  17. Add ball tracking ability to your list. That was the difference between bombs to Watkins and bombs to Goodwin. Watkins would adjust and catch it more, Goodwin needed the ball to be dropped into a bucket.
  18. It's one of the more interesting ones I can remember, and that largely has to do with the landscape across the league instead of just the Bills. There are major QB question marks for nearly half the league in a year where the draft sports a pretty deep QB class. That class opens up even more volatility as some decent, but underperforming, starters may be jettisoned for a flashy new toy with a high draft grade. The household names are getting older and contemplating retirement, and their established teams are also looking for a successor to groom. It's going to be fun to watch and theorize about for the next 3ish months until the dust settles.
  19. Tyrod's 2018 cap hit is $16M per spotrac. Trading for Smith would involve the loss of a draft pick, likely a day 2 pick. Based on Smith's contract, we would owe him $17M this year plus we'd have $8.64M Dead cap from Tyrod. 2018 also appears to be the last year on Smith's current deal, so if he didn't want to be here he could play the year and leave and our 2018 QB cap hit would be over $25M.
  20. The loss of Berry, while not the only thing, really seemed to effect them.
  21. It's a direct quote from the guy you're trying to have a conversation with...
  22. What are you talking about? Didn't you know our HC got the most out of Tyrod!
