Not that I've seen, but hopefully Culley is retained and moved to WR coach and we bring in a new QB coach with QB experience and a new OL coach who knows the power scheme.

I would imagine that this hire, at least in part, is an acknowledgement of our OL being almost entirely under contract already and an effort to use a blocking scheme that they have been successful in rather than blowing the unit up and creating even more holes this offseason. Hopefully he gets his pick for QB and we take a step forwards.

I like Edmunds a lot, but I don't think he's what we're looking for in a LB. That being said, If Alexander is really shifting to DE then maybe he does fit a hole at OLB. His brother at Safety may be an option for us on day 2 though. And we have 2 CBs that fit McD's physical profile that should both be early day 3 types.

Also, fwiw, we tied for the most 3rd down attempts in the league with Denver, and converted the most 3rd downs in the league this year. Finished 6th in conversion %.

The OL & QB were part of the previous, more successful offenses! The season before we were so strapped for WRs that we hired Percy Harvin out of retirement for $2M. Dennison performed horribly and absolutely deserved to be fired.

Literally every facet of the offense he took over regressed. There wasn't improvement in any category.
