  1. Wasn't there that game that preceded the 'You Like That?!?' clip that is so famous now?
  2. So they don't want Tyrod in return?
  3. Peterman's going to the Raiders. Gruden loved him on QB Camp!
  4. Is that adjusting for Rosen's dropped passes too? Pretty sure 1 out of every 9 passes Rosen threw was dropped.
  5. Yeah, trade saves us $1M more than cut.
  6. I learned that Dan Snyder is still the owner of the Redskins, and he is still Dan Snyder.
  7. What, exactly, is official about this?
  8. Bruce! Please come to Buffalo and teach our young QB!
  9. Yeah. I think it's a much better fit for him with a Denver, Buffalo, Arizona, or Minnesota.
  10. It's the greatly exaggerated fan-fic cousin of what happened. Reality was more like McD called Dennison into his office McD: Why aren't we scoring more? Dennison: Tyrod's not throwing where I want him to. Peterman would though. McD: Fine, but it'd better lead to points. 2 Quarters & 5 INTs later...
  11. I get the impression that he's tired of the big market feel of DC. I don't think he ends up in NY.
  12. Depends what teams offer. They may need to cut him outright due to their cap situation.
  13. If I have to choose between the 2 then I'm angry that I've gotten to this point, honestly. I would go with Bradford, but mostly due to the drawbacks surrounding acquiring and keeping Smith. Alex Smith on a $17M one year rental isn't worth the draft picks. He had a great year last year, but the rest of his career screams average at best. I simply do not have hope that 2017 Alex is the product I'm getting for $17M, a 2nd, and a future pick or depth player.
  14. I know this wasn't addressed to me, but I'll go ahead and say no I wouldn't. I am much higher on Mayfield (top 20) as a prospect than I was Peterman (Day 3). That in and of itself affords more leeway. I would, however, have to look at what caused such an awful performance. Also, the likelihood of topping a half that was worse than any QB since the merger just one year later on the same team seems pretty slim.
  15. They'd probably have to agree to a backup deal if the physical fails.
  16. This quite literally happened this past season when Seattle traded for Duane Brown. Jeremy Lane failed his physical, so Seattle wound up amending their side of the deal to include a higher draft pick. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21242487/seattle-seahawks-houston-texans-amend-duane-brown-trade-jeremy-lane-fails-physical
  17. And I never said it was. The boast was that we had the most explosive plays in the league both years. In 2015, when we had a healthy Watkins for more games, we had a higher number of big passes. In 2016 the passes went down, as did Watkins' availability, but we made up for it with even more explosive runs. Nothing I posted was incorrect or disingenuous, you just took a portion of my post out of context because you wanted to argue with me based on what you assume my intent is rather than what I actually posted. At least that is how it comes across to me, and it's annoying and tiresome.
  18. Shady, passing plays are passes. Seriously, what are you on about? I clearly and correctly stated that we had more big passes in 2015 than 2016. Unless you believe 32<23...
  19. What?!? I thought it was Peterman, Darnold, or nothing!
  20. Shady, please try to read the whole thing before going on awful tangents. Here's what I said that YOU bolded. Here's what you found: Now, unless everything I've learned about rankings is incorrect your findings imply that there were more explosive passing plays in 2015 (when we ranked 12th) than in 2016 (where we were 5th from the bottom. I hypothesized that the downward trend may be correlated to Sammy Watkins, who played 13 games in 2015, 8 in 2016 (on a broken foot), and 0 in 2017. The offense did not regress without Roman. They scored more points and a higher percentage of TDs after he was fired. The big passes went down, but there were multiple factors there - primarily being the availability of receivers. As I have stated in numerous threads, Roman was fired because he was awful in preparation leading to poor execution due to lack of quality reps. Also, you might want to look at explosive plays by player, as many of the explosive runs did not come from the RB position. Note, I said many, not most. Do not twist my words to fit your illogical narrative.
  21. I don't understand what you're referring to. In 2015 and 2016 the Bills led all teams in explosive plays. In 2015 there were more explosive passes than in 2016, partly because Watkins only played 8 games in 2016 vs 13 in 2015. In 2017 we removed every viable deep threat from our roster. Obviously the deep passes went away.

  23. It's also Shady's standard response. Someone poses a reasonable question, he counters with a much more unreasonable version that isn't really comparable at all.
