  1. Supposedly the NFL is looking into this situation for tampering. Fins could be fined or lose draft picks over this.
  2. Is this really true? 2008 season WITHOUT Tom Brady, and Cassel as their QB, the Pats missed the playoffs with an 11-5 record, and went 4-2 in division games. That's pretty decent without Brady.
  3. George Wilson, Andy Levitre, Da'Norris Searcy. Gotta love the Titans for overpaying our ex players.
  4. I don't know what you guys are talking about. They still have this guy named Rob Gronkowski. Not sure if you've heard of him. Edelman's pretty good and they could end up with a RB like Melvin Gordon or Todd Gurley in the draft. Either one is an upgrade over Ridley and Blount IMO. Arrington, McCourty, and Chung are decent enough in the secondary and they still have the NFL draft to fill those needs. Chandler, Collins and Ninkovich, and Donta Hightower are also solid players. Sure they lost some high profile players but Belichik has done more with less.
  5. As long as Brady and Belichik are there, the Patriots are the team to beat in the division. They've proven this over and over again. Teams don't get awards for being paper champions.
  6. If anything, I see us drafting another QB to groom. Maybe like a Garrett Grayson, or a Bryce Petty.
  7. His offense will never fly in the NFL. He's set that franchise back for YEARS. Never wanted him to be our coach coming out of college and I'm still glad we don't have him now.
  8. LOL. and I also hear that the Bills are trading McCoy for Tom Brady straight up.
  9. Forget Revis. Devin McCourty is the guy we need to get and IMO more valuable in Rex's defense than Revis. Sure, Revis is a better coverage guy, but McCourty is way more versatile and can do more things in Rex's defense. He can cover TE's, can take away the middle, and is a solid tackler. Rex can get really creative with this guy. Other guys we should be lookin at is Mike Iupati, David Harris, and Niles Paul. If we can get McCourty, Iupati, Harris, and Paul in free agency. Get some more defensive players and o-lineman in the draft, we'll be AFC championship contenders.
  10. The dude needs to play the full 16 games. I'll make my judgement after this season.
  11. Not sure if he was happy or disappointed with this trade.
  12. I think we go QB, OG, OLB, or an OT. If we don't make aggressive moves in free agency, then we'll need to get A LOT stronger at the line. We're nowhere near good to be a dominant, power running team that Rex and Roman want us to be.
  13. This is a BOLD move that helps and hurts both teams. Very fair trade in my opinion.
  14. There's a reason for that. CJ isn't even half the RB that Shady is.
  15. I don't think he's done but still don't want him.
  16. If we can sign Hughes, Charles Clay, Iupati, and Devin McCourty, I'll be a happy camper. McCourty would be huge for us as he can play the CB AND the Safety position, can serve as a valuable asset for Rex Ryan's defense. Then draft Jay Ajayi in the second to be our lead back for years to come. Love this guy and I think he'll be one of the best RBs in this year's draft class. He's also a physical RB that fits into Roman's system.
  17. QBs aren't easy to find but teams can succeed with a mediocre QB. Joe Namath, Mark Rypien, Trent Dilfer, Matt Hasselbeck, Rex Grossman, Jake Delhomme, Brad Johnson, Chris Chandler, Neil O'Donnell, Stan Humphries, are just a few QBs that made it to the SB. Like you said, QBs are hard to find, so you gotta find alternate ways to win. Just because you don't have a QB, you're going to give up every year until we get one? Teams can be successful with a mediocre QB. Hell, the Jets made it to the AFC championship game in back to back season with Mark Sanchez as their QB. It can be done.
  18. Until we fix this o-line, RB, and QB situation, I could care less about WR/TE. That's the last of our worries on offense.
  19. Absolutely no way Jay Ajayi lasts til the 3rd round. He's one of the hottest names and will be climbing up the draft boards when it's all said and done.
  20. Jay Ajayi will be a beast at the next level. Wouldn't mind him at all. Is a better fit in Roman's system.
  21. Hoyer got worse because of Gordon. He kept trying to force the ball to him and didn't work out too well.
  22. Never ever sign a FA RB. RB's are probably the easiest position to fill by draft and if you can build a great o-line and get a great QB to keep the defense honest, any RB can succeed. Look at the Broncos, from Knowshon Moreno, Ronnie Hillman, and CJ Anderson.
  23. After we trade for Drew Brees. We can sign Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Mike Iupati, Ndamukong Suh, and Darrelle Revis. Super Bowl, here we come!
