  1. I think we're set at WR but Wayne is the only one of the mentioned WRs that I'd bring aboard.
  2. Woods is a much better WR and a much more polished WR than Harvin will ever be. Some people here still underestimate Woods and I see him going into the season as the number 2.
  3. Even if he was cut, it still would've been a horrible idea.
  4. No sht. You also sign players so they can help develop young players and I'm sure Wayne can still play.
  5. Nicks sucks. He's done. I'd sign Reggie Wayne for veteran leadership. Our young guys can learn a ton from him
  6. I'll take credit for that. WHen i left and say bye to him, i said "Just please don't ever sign with the Patriots." He obviously listened to what I said
  7. If you're good, you're good and he's shown he can hold his own against guys who've played D1 programs. I'm sure you would've said the same thing about Fred Jackson coming out of college. Probably would've said the same thing about Shannon Sharpe, London Fletcher, Wayne Chrebet, Wes Welker, Jahri Evans, Tony Romo. Theres TONS of talent out there, not always in D1 programs. Maybe he'll be a difference maker, maybe not but you can't be afraid to draft a player because of the level of play he had in college.
  8. I have no beef with the combine/pro day. I just don't understand why the positional drills are done without full pads.
  9. Not sure if you remembered but in his earlier years, they went to back to back AFC Championship games. He only failed as the Jets coach because he was set up to fail. If he's given the tools to succeed, he knows how to use them. IMO he was done wrong in NJ and is a good coach.
  10. Miami University - Jim Kelly, Bernie Kosar, Vinny Testaverde. Stanford - John Elway, Andrew Luck, Jim Plunkett Purdue - Drew Brees, Bob Griese, Len Dawson In my eyes, there are some colleges that produce players depending on their position. Miami University's put out great TE's. I know that Iowa puts out great o-lineman. Obviously this isn't always the case and is never what scouts do but i do sometimes look at the college's alumni to see the quality of prospects they've put out.
  11. Because you ALREADY see it now that his lack of accuracy comes from hesitation in his reads, so what makes you think that'll change if he comes in for Cassel in the middle of the season? He only has 3 multi TD games in his career, and you think he's going just come right in and fire 6 TDs right away? Not happening. If Manuel progresses, I see it happening gradually which is why i keep saying that he needs to start the WHOLE season. From Week 1 to Week 17. The kid needs reps and needs a coaching staff that will stick with him and that needs to be THIS year with a new coaching staff.
  12. Just the way he hit, tackled, shed blocks, and played on special teams could've been more useful on the defensive side of the ball rather than at WR. I know Marv rarely used him at WR because he was so valuable to ST but still. Just a thought.
  13. Manuel's confidence is going to be shattered if he doesn't win the starting job this year. Even if he comes in for an injured Cassel, you won't get a full year of EJ and you STILL won't know what you have in him. I feel this team needs to see him start all 16 games and see if he can learn from his mistakes and grow as a QB. Starting half the season won't cut it. Like I've said before, EJ is the ONLY option at QB for us this year but who knows. I just dont think he has a future if he doesn't start this year.
  14. Marpet held his own and did well in the Senior Bowl. I think he'll be fine at the next level but I doubt that he'll last til the 3rd
  15. If Manuel doesn't win the competition, he's done here IMO. So then we'll have to start Cassel this year, and should have Manuel and the rookie fight for the backup position. Start the "rookie" QB in his 2nd year and cut ties with Manuel in 2016. Just to make it clear though, I think EJ SHOULD be the starting QB going in and should be starting the ENTIRE season. I still don't think we know what we have with EJ.
  16. Won't cost much to cut ties with Tyrod and Tuel and just keep Cassel, Manuel as the backup, and the rookie as the 3rd string. Not really difficult. My point is that there should be a "competition" but EJ needs to come away as the clear cut winner if they're not ready to give up on him. If you don't start him this year, then he's officially done with the Bills and time to move on. There's no future at QB with Cassel, Tyrod and Tuel.
  17. Ive always wondered if they've ever thought about moving him to Safety behind Kelso and Jones
  18. if EJ doesn't start this year, that mean's we're done with EJ officially and there's no turning back. And if that's the case then we have to draft a QB EARLY with our first or 2nd pick this year so we can develop him early and have him ready to compete next season.
  19. x2. Just leave it. If the XP is so "automatic," whats the difference between making a TD 7 points? I like the game the way it is.
  20. 10 years? They've owned this division since 2001.
  21. This is something that should NEVER be done, and is definitely where his inconsistencies come from.
