  1. Look you don't have to try to convince me that Kupper sucks and will be looking for a job soon. Seriously i know Kupper botched those snaps albeit nerves, miscommunication, farted mid snap, or what have you. I was being sarcastic, and obviously did not come off as such. I'm a Bills fan and I will root for whoever is the starter ends up being. I'm just tired of the EJ fanboy-ism by some and ready for the season to start. Sick of the he is not getting credit for the beautiful TD ( in-spite of horrible footwork ) Its like winning the lottery !... or then he is getting to much hate for throwing a bomb into the V.I.P tent. ... and like being struck by lightning, and in the same week ! How about the 5 botched snaps since camp started compared to how many by the rest of the QBs on the roster? They all have been together since OTA's. I guess being a leader and showing command in the huddle, and getting everyone on the same page pre-snap is only a prerequisite of a starting QB's in the league.
  2. Yes they were bad snaps. The second could of of been prevented if the QB did his job and corrected it in the huddle. It wasn't like it was road game where the were dealing with a hostile crowd. Common 26 your better than that !
  3. Rex stated at the start of camp the scrimmage would be treated like a preseason game. EJ had his "game" with the ones. I think the QB race was Tyrod Cassel and EJ headed into camp. By starting them in reverse order, it afforded them a longer opportunity to change Rex's and Romans minds before naming a starter before the 3rd preseason game. EJ has likely all but been eliminated as a starting candidate at this point.
  4. So tired of all the excuses made for EJ. First snap was a miscommunication between both QB and center. The second one is on EJ since he is responsible for making corrections on the field.
  5. Big Ben's off the field issues happened after he was drafted. Had they happened in college i doubt he would have been drafted in the 1st round. As for your on the field comparison, Big Ben played more than 2 years of college ball. Winston came out of nowhere his first year and seriously regressed his second year. Especially the last half of 2014. Either Winston lacks "mental toughness" or college defenses figured him out. Big Ben's best season in college was his last. IMO
  6. I would gamble on a guy who's floor looks to be somewhere between solid starter and pro-bowler and who's ceiling could be a potential Hall of Famer. Regardless as to whether or not rookie contracts make it safer, missing on a "gamble" has potential to set a franchise back years. IMO
  7. I really don't see Winston as a top 10 talent. Personally I think the Buc's should pair Leonard Williams with McCoy and get a QB in the second. If the pick at #1 has to be a QB, I would go with Mariota. Winston has too many red flags both on and off the field. The only QB drafted in the first round since 2011 to throw more picks in their collage career is Ponder (30), but that was over the course of 4 years. Winston has 28 picks in 2 years! By comparison; Mariota 14 picks over 3 years, Bortles 19 picks 3 years, Bridgewater 24 picks 3 years, EJ 28 picks 4 years, Luck 22 picks 3 years, RG3 17 picks 4 years, Newton 7 picks 3 years only started 1, Ponder 30 picks 4 years. Winston's agent is doing what he's paid to do. Hype his client to the media, and draw attention away from the off the field issues. All you hear about is his potential and his ceiling, while citing countless high-lite reels. But what about his floor ?   8. Would be a solid move if it happens. Landry would fill lb/ss hybrid role which is a need at this point. Rex's d puts the SS in the box at the snap with a single safety over the top (AW) leaving the corners in man coverage. The SS in rex's d are responsible for cleaning up the strong side in the running game, occasionally dropping back into coverage, and frequent blitzing, which is one of the biggest differences in this D.
  9. While i agree OJ is the greatest pure runner in Bills history, he is not the franchise's greatest back. I realize rushing for 2003 yards in a 14 game season will never again be repeated. The 14 game 1974 season began on Sept. 16, the last game of the Bills regular season was Dec. 15. OJ's lone playoff game was Dec 22 @ Pittsburgh. OJ's playoff stats 15 att. 47 yards 3.27 average and no TDs.. Over the course of OJ's NFL career that's a lot of time off in the between each season to rest. Thurman played a 16 game schedule, Appeared in 21 playoff games over an 11 year playoff run from 1988-1999. He logged over the course of his career an additional 339 att 1442 yards 4.3 average and 16 TDs in the playoffs in addition to his regular season stats. Bills only.   11. I keep seeing how Tampa should draft Winston because Jimbo Fisher runs a pro style offense and is the most NFL ready. I disagree.   12. How many rushing td's did the rb who has been branded nameless untill he learns to hold onto the football by Rex have last year? Oh wait None! He fumbled it. How about his longest rush ? 14 yards. So your bigger, faster, and stronger back did less than "The old guy".
