  1. This is NO secret that Rex likes Taylor and hasn't been a secret for awhile. Mobile and scrambling are 2 completely different things.
  2. Mark Sanchez had NOTHING to do with them going to the AFC Championship. They could've gone to those games with Trent Edwards as their QB. Their number 1 ranked defense and their number 1 ranked rushing attack got them there. Not many teams go to the Championship game with a QB that couldn't throw the ball for more than 2500 yds and had a 63 rating. I'm SOOO SICK of people giving Sanchez credit for the Jets success in those 2 years. With a better QB they could've WON the Super Bowl.
  3. or we woulda been in BIG trouble... http://www.nfl.com/videos/n-if-l/09000d5d8223e162/N-if-L-What-if-Favre-stayed-a-Packer
  4. Andrew Luck is the Franken QB. Speed and size of Cam Newton. Escape ability of Roethlisberger and Wilson. Mind and leadership intangibles of Peyton. Competitiveness of Tom Brady. Accuracy and arm of Rodgers. Physicality of an NFL RB. Comeback ability like no other. He is the TOTAL package.
  5. Everyone is gonna have a different experience with everyone they meet. Don't see the purpose of this. I've heard so many times that Strahan's a great guy but when I met him he was a complete a**hole. I met Adrian Peterson and he was the most down to earth guy and talked to me for a couple minutes even with tons of girls around but he ends up beating his kid.
  6. 1. Andre Reed 2. Jim Kelly 3. Thurman Thomas 4. Steve Tasker 5. Bruce Smith 6. Eric Moulds 7. Nate Odomes 8. Daryl Talley 9. Steve Christie 10. Stevie Johnson
  7. Highly disagree. Belichick and Payton made them what they are today and if you don't see it then I don't know what else to tell you. Look at Cassel in 2008. 21 TDs and 11 INTs under Belichick? Brees would be a "good to middle of the pack" QB if it wasn't for Payton. You can't be serious. There's a difference between "good" QBs like Flacco, Tannehill, and then there's GREAT. Without Payton and without Belichick, Brady and Brees would be just another good QB in this league. Look at Brees's numbers before New Orleans and then while he was with Payton. Night and day. Yup. Totally agree
  8. That's a BS comment. Are you serious? Are you saying that if Tom Brady went to the Cleveland Browns with the number 1 overall pick with Chris Palmer as his head coach, he'd have the kind of success he has now? LOL. Same goes for Brees. Brees was good in San Diego but Sean Payton and his genius ways made him the offensive monster he is today. Chan was and still is a genius and knew how to utilize his players. He was a god awful HC but to make Fitzpatrick and Spiller look like competent players should tell you that coaching has A LOT to do with a player's success.
  9. Why? It's our boneheaded coaching staff (with the exception of Chan) that didn't know how to utilize him. Blame the coaches, not CJ
  10. Doesn't matter if they haven't won a Super Bowl. They're more accomplished coaches than Marrone and Hackett.
  11. No more overpaying free agents. Build this team through the draft and save money. We're off to a decent start
  12. Save money and re-sign our other players. No thanks
  13. Couldn't get past the first paragraph. Amateur writing at its finest.
  14. Ur lookin at college highlights? LOL Lemme show you college highlights of Tom Brady vs Brady Quinn and tell me which looked better.
  15. What if we had Brees, Eli, Rivers, Peyton, Cam, Russell?
  16. WAY premature. Every OSU QB that took over that offense last year lit it up. Not impressed by Cardale. Kevin Hogan in the 2nd or 3rd if he comes out. O-line in 1st
  17. Just ask Steve Smith of the Giants, Greg Jennings, Santonio Holmes, Eric Decker, if they'd agree with you. QB is EVERYTHING. Look at Fitzgerald with Warner and Fitzgerald with Drew Stanton. Greg Jennings with Favre/Rodgers and Jennings with Bridgewater. Decker with Manning and Decker with Geno. I will put money that you never hear from Maclin again and you definitely won't hear from Julius Thomas again in Jacksonville. And you think it's "silly" to put so much weight on QB play? A great QB can make any WR look great.
  18. It would further prove that Belichick is the brains of the operation and Brady is overrated. There I said it. If this does happen and if Matt Cassel took them to an 11-5 record, then its true.
  19. Exactly... My top 5 receiver units would be Giants, Packers, Cowboys, Lions, Cardinals
  20. Again...Indy's WR core is HIGHLY overrated and IMO the Giants WR core is WAY better. I'd take Cruz and Beckham over Johnson and TY any day of the week.
