I think Ryan pushed for a long term deal, thinking that he had earned it from his past. I dont think that he had any intention of winning a Super Bowl or lasting 5yrs. Coasting is exactly what he did this year, and he brought his brother in to get him paid, too, if only for 1 yr. Football is all he knows, and he knew well enough what he was doing.

In a way, its sad to see the decline of local sportswriters, but its the way its going. They dont serve a purpose anymore, so they try to garner as many clicks as they can and cause as much controversy to make them seem relevant. Sully would probably be better off if he transitioned to a hardline restaurant critic or something a little more modern than a newspaper columnist.

The problem that I have with this is that we wouldnt know that Brandon would really be removed from the football decisions. It would be marketed that way to the fans, but his influence would still be there. Its like the person who prints the money telling you what its worth.

I dont see him going anywhere as a HC again. He has no consistent track record of success. Ever. And I feel like his ego is too big to be a DC and have to actually be held accountable. Hes a sloppy mess of a person, and his teams are undisciplined. The only thing hes got that still works is his mouth, and that barely got him through 2yrs of a 5yr contract. Just enjoy the twilight of this dinosaur until the comet comes.

Lol...the season takes a toll on everyone. We almost put together a winning one, which would be the knockout punch for Vic.

That along with the nobody who put up 200yds on us last game should be enough fuel for the fire. But this defense has a history of rolling over when it counts, so we'll see. Landry essentially ended Williams career (even though it was just the hit that sealed it and not a new injury) with that cheap shot.

I just want to knock the Phins out of the playoffs, even if they have no shot at winning if they get there. Payback for them kicking our ass earlier in the year, too. Out of the Browns, phins, and Jets, Id rather beat the dolphins and lose to the others. We beat Cleveland, but still want to at least beat the Phins.
