  1. So far Beans is hitting .000 with Free Agents. Is there a solid contributor at all from his pick ups?
  2. This is a tinfoil hat thread for sure. Lots of conspiracy theories revolving around the Bills Front Office purposely screwing over Allen. The same FO that traded up to get him lol.
  3. Yea, damn Whaley for locking up the guy who has been our top receiver. He looked bad, but he generally comes up big during the season.
  4. The practice squad at lowly Tennessee is probably more talented than Wyoming, and Pitt is in the ACC which is a power 5 conference. Allen had a few chances against big name schools and failed. How do you know Peterman will be awful this year? Allen just had a taste of that San Diego game and he didn't look great either. I'd rather have a second year player the first 6 games than a project rookie. This team isn't going near .500, so it's going to suck either way.
  5. Peterman had more year in college versus big name opponents too. I feel like we discount that far too often here.
  6. It seems to me that they fired Murray in one league and went right out and signed his twin in the other. Both are young, untested, and arrogant guys that made questionable trades and contract decisions almost immediately.
  7. The Pegulas have screwed up quite a bit in both franchises. It's crazy to me that your GM isn't selecting the coach.
  8. Whaley was really good at FA, but not great at the draft. That being said, outside of qb, a lot of his draft picks are still in the league. Beane reminds me of Tim Murray more and more everyday. That's 28th amongst starters. I've see a few that had him last.
  9. Not judging, but are you one of those Wyoming fans who are now Bills fans?
  10. Mistake or thinking of someone else? I think you're way off on the locker room. You don't think those guys have seen talent underperform before? Sometimes guys just need more time, and those first 6 games are not the time for it. Good chance he reverts back to bad habits if he faces pressure like that regularly.
  11. There is a very big 'he can do no wrong' crowd on here.
  12. I wonder if Minnesota will give us all their picks for a RB too. I'm not sure we're going to build as fast or as strong as they did.
  13. Signing two guys ranked as one of the worst at their positions is not trying. Whaley was amazing at signings like that, and Beane is obviously lacking. They might want to hire a good pro personnel guy to help.
  14. They had a lot of outside runs that were stopped by the ends and linebackers. In the previous two games, they would run right at him for good to great yardage. The Cleveland game looked just like the post-Dareus ones last year.
  15. I think Peterman is the one for quick short throws. Allen is still trying to get the feel of it. You can tell that he is still trying to workout something between fastball and a floater.
  16. John Ross ran a 4.22 40... people are going to get burned. Need help over top for him.
  17. I completely agree that Greggo is an ass. He did put him down once with the DB shifting from the MLB to outside the DE. I was definitely not an Allen fan during the draft, but he has impressed me a lot so far. I just don't think over hyping it at this point is going to solve anything, there are still a lot of unknowns. The poster I replied to was trying to compare Foles and Allen when one played the starters and the other didn't. Those first 6 games are brutal.
  18. You mean minus those top tier DEs right? That's what we need to see, not just some of the 1st defense. The Chargers are going to wreck our line, so they need to determine if he can handle that.
  19. Plus Ragland and Bradham are contributing well on other teams. Pos had a solid long career, he just couldn't get past the LOS for a tackle lol. We honestly could use someone like him with solid tackling technique.
  20. Well since the story was that he did it because of a recruit that doesn't actually fit the timeline, I don't really see a reason. If he outed Smith it was to hurt Smith. If Meyer didn't do his due diligence, that's on him. He's not just some random State employee.
  21. I was saying that I'm glad he didn't force it. Learning to take the sack is sometimes necessary. 26 was already up close both times and then they just lose track of him.
  22. That would be on the QB to change the route. A TE isn't going to just abandon his route to block unless it's a pre-built option. Probably should at least chip him a little, but I wouldn't say block outright. It's possible that it's some growing pains associated with switching positions. I thought for sure it was designed to the TE because of the turn you mentioned. I'm glad he didn't try to force it to him like a lot would. Maybe in college the LT called out DBs cheating over like that. Its :28 and 1:06 in the video.
