And they only got Luck because their FO had no plan without Peyton. -

After they build the stadium. Money's got to come from some where. -
Kool-Aid or not Rex naturally builds relationships with people. It's important that the entire organization is on the same page. Since the Pegula's bought the team there has been significant movement, which is another notable positive change from the past. From the decisiveness demonstrated I have no doubt that the O-Line will be addressed and we will be ready for the ground and pound. EJ has a great opportunity, I hope he is able to seize it.

Vincent Jackson could be cut...
ProcessAccepted replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just so I understand, Welker was always thought of as a star and always played at a high level. He was undrafted because of size but size did not stop Steve Smith from being drafted, hmmm. He was on 3 different teams in his 4 years so the Chargers and Dolphins must have felt that there was better out there. The Patriots created a gameplan that suited his skills. At the time that they acquired him for a 2nd round pick no one thought that they were getting the value that they did. I don't know if Chris Hogan personally pissed in your Cheerios but I think you should go back and look at what he did well this year. He knows how to find space, catch and run. Welker was not always the great Wes Welker. It is my opinion, just an opinion, that Hogan will really step it up this year and show his full potential. -

Time will tell whether my opinion on Hogan is correct. You have to remember though that Welker was just some undrafted receiver until he joined the Pats, his 3rd team in 4 years. Chrebet was a long shot as well and the "teams mascot" in some people's mind. Lets revisit 2/2016 when we can see how Hogan did next season. -

Hogan's stats in his 3rd year in football are not that different to Welkers 3rd season. However one glaring difference is Hogan caught 4 tds compared to to Welkers 0. I saw a lot of progression over the season from the former College lacrosse player. He only had one year of college football which has slowed his progression. I really think the penny has dropped for him and we'll see great things this year from him as a possession receiver. The kid can get open and can catch and run, plus he's a gritty type of player. -
What Level of QB Play is Required for 2015?
ProcessAccepted replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It all depends on how effective the ground and pound is. If we can get that rolling, EJ playing like he did before he got hurt in his rookie year will be enough. -

Hogan is a Welker about to happen. My gut tells me that he's going to have a great year this year. I hate to enlighten you but lets give Stevie credit. He made some great catches as a Bill like the one in this clip. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000112189/WK-15-Can-t-Miss-Play-Stick-to-Stevie -
This just got a lot worse for the Patriots if he is not the same equipment guy that they've previously interviewed for taking the balls into the restroom. If there are equipment guys acting suspiciously and you have 11/12 balls deflated and attempts to introduce K balls the NFL can not just make it go away. Makes you wonder what they did against the Ravens the week before.

Ha ha, that is a really good point. Whatever chance Richie has of being a reformed character would be significantly less with Sam in the locker room. The team decided to roll the dice on Incognito so they really need to try and help him succeed.

Why would you say that? LA has had teams and lost them. Just because it's a bigger market does not mean that you cast off fans who have been loyal for decades. So what if there might be a bigger piece of cheese in LA. Cast your mind back a year or so when people we saying that the Bills needed to move to a bigger market. I feel empathy for the Chargers fan and hope that it works out in their favor. They are the ones that supported and kept the team viable all these years.

Report: Broncos could part ways with Manning
ProcessAccepted replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't say whether we would or would not get to the Super Bowl with Peyton. I can say that it would be a significant upgrade for 1-2 years and allow us get a more permanent solution. I'd love to see just how well out WR corp would do. Personally I think we have excellent talent there and we'd really open the leagues eyes with Peyton getting them the ball. Also Peyton has a way of improving the OL play, if we can get him we'd be crazy not to. -
I have a couple of comments. 1. It depends on which QB your farting on. Some guys get different treatment like that no call on intentional grounding that helped Brady in the SB. 2. A lot of these guys became the guys after having a chance to learn from a older guy. Brees, Rodgers, Brady would not be the players they are today if they started from day one. Parcells says the exact same thing about Romo ( http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/2014/11/bill-parcells-if-i-played-tony-romo-as-a-rookie-he-wouldve-been-out-of-football-in-less-than-2-years.html/ )

If Incognito can become a changed man then why can't Hardy learn his lesson too. Goodell is too scared of controversy at this stage to do anything drastic. He's just trying to survive in the job.

Who is the 2nd toughest Guard available ?
ProcessAccepted replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While I'd love to have Revis as a Bill our DB's are actually pretty good and improving. Even McKelvin was having a really good year before he got hurt. We need to spend the big $$$ on the OL. It's by far the biggest need we have that can be addressed in FA. Iupati would be a great add, and since there won't be any real can't miss QBs available that is where I'd focus the money for talent acquisition. -
Poll: Who is the Greatest (QB) of all Time?
ProcessAccepted replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was surprised that Brady is ahead of Montana in the poll. Montana's touch on the ball is still the best that I've ever seen, plus he played at a time when the rules gave the CB a chance against the WR. The argument that he had a great team with the 49ers is weakened a little by his success in KC after he was jettisoned for being past his prime. I agree with many of the posters that there is no single GOAT, but if I had to pick someone it has to go to Joe "There's John Candy" Montana. A little out dated - should be 3-3 and have included Butler's interception -
After the crap ending to the game yesterday I have to say I was a little down. This post did brighten my day. Too funny, thank you .
