  1. I know we lost the game but I have to tell you I'm not gutted at all. There are just too many positives from the end of the season to be disheartened. Sugar High Josh Allen is dead. The new guy is a straight up killer that has found a consistent Zen like level of elite play. I can't wait to see dismantle opponents next year. Just as Josh has been a sponge soaking up and learning from experience McD is learning on the job too. Both men seemed to grow a lot last year and I'm expecting nothing short of the SB next year.
  2. O-Line and Josh Allen play at the end of the season
  3. Just imagine what they could do if they had Rex Ryan 😂
  4. This is right after the Dawson Knox stiff arm. Everyone gets all quiet when the big man #79 comes around 😂
  5. Another guy that goes unnoticed is Spencer Brown. I know he makes some rookie mistakes but the guy is nasty. Baldy highlights what he brings in the last part of this breaddown
  6. @Buffalo03 posted this in another thread. #17 = Leadership personified
  7. Wow. On and off the field it's in his DNA.
  8. I agree with almost all of what you are saying. Not sure about Herbert. The kid is super talented but talent is not the same as it. Physical talent helps but its not it. Burrow has it in bunches. Some people equate it to confidence or swagger but its clear if you look at Mayfield you can see that swagger alone doesn't get you there. That Cleveland team had way more talent than the Steelers but IMO suffered from the lack of cohesion that Mayfield injected into the locker room this season. Herbert may have it, but I would have expected to see his talent and abilities shown in games like the Raiders one to have translated to being very clear leader on all sides of the ball on and off the field.
  9. The silence from the Pegulas bothers me soooo much that I'm not going to start a thread about it.
  10. Agreed. These rankings are really subjective and are used just for content and discussions. I'm fine with Rodgers being #1 but Stafford at #3 highlights some of the imperfections of this particular metric.
  11. The Pro Bowl really has a creditability issue. Buffalo are the #1 defense in the league but didn't get a single Pro Bowl selection. It was meaningful at one time but sadly not for many years.
  12. That's kind of simplistic. I'll be the first to say that Ralph wasn't perfect but it's not fair to discount his many contributions to building the NFL.
  13. Ralph was a key figure in building the league. He was risking money when there was nothing and no hope for the league. You have to remember that Ralph and the other 7 owners were called the Foolish Club because nobody thought the AFL could succeed. Ralph even had to bail other clubs out when they ran out of money just to keep the league alive.
  14. Yup the #1 Defense architect for two third round picks sure does sound fair. Why not bring back Rex while we're at it.
  15. There's been solid rumors for a while that Dungy will be GM and Frazier will be HC. There may be truth to those rumors after all.
  16. Lucky for them its not a playoff week. They'll still beat the Browns
  17. That would be a great thing but I see it being the Patriots coming to OP
  18. Just saw this one on Twitter. Made me smile
  19. Agreed. I just disagree with the Brady is greater than Belichick because he's won more games since leaving... They both can be special
  20. Except Brady didn't win the SB with just another team. TB was stacked and loaded last year. Look at this year when Brady loses 2 key players he gets shut out. Football isn't tennis - sustained success takes more than just one player.
  21. 3 can make it still if the Phins beat the Pats
  22. Agreed but I just wanted to give kudos to the non hot take folks that still are out there and not bundle them in with the Nick Wrights of the world. There is a difference between the sports journalists and the Skip Bayless types.
  23. It's not the media's issue. It's the personality hot take commentators that drive clicks that is the problem.
