  1. In what way? I think they’ve been one of the more consistent teams that are middle of the pack in the league.
  2. C-R-A-P, JETS JETS JETS!
  3. The team themselves can kick rocks but credit to Tua man. Guy comes back in to try and turn their season around and is already proving, what most of us know, how important he is to that team and their success. Big respect to him.
  4. Interesting. Did not think it was that significant. Thanks for sharing that.
  5. As much as Kupp is awesome when healthy, wouldn’t a vertical threat or field stretcher be more beneficial?
  6. He works there too?! Oh man. PS money must suck!
  7. Underrated comment 😂
  8. Agreed. Don’t think it’ll be a cakewalk but a win regardless 🤞
  9. You mean to tell me that wink isn’t just for you?!?
  10. Yeah, that is a great counterpoint. There is a grey area with any decision as we aren’t the ones forced to make the decision in real time under the microscope of a sport, let alone prime time scheduling. Hindsight is always 20/20 for coaches and fans lol Just sucks that astar WR for one team and a quality LT for another will miss the season because of an unnecessary decision by their coaches.
  11. if you remove the rushing yards, it’s weird how his, EJ Manuel’s, rookie year and Josh’s look to be a similar QB. Haven’t done a dive into Josh’s earlier stats since the other thread that’s going on but man I always forget how brutal the passing stats were lol First, let us all be thankful Josh completely committed to getting better. That’s a hard task in itself at any sport or task in life. Secondly, I wonder if Josh wasn’t as successful with his legs those first 2 years would they have looked at a different avenue? Big prayers to the patron saint of drought ending.
  12. I don’t. Couldn’t care less whether he gets fired or not. That’s fine, I disagree. A loss to Vanderbilt?!? Then barely scraping by South Carolina and now losing to Tennessee. What will the excuse be if they lose to Mizzou? I get the point what you’re saying with Kirby, and maybe you reference it because he lost to Vanderbilt too, the difference is he wasn’t taking over a program that had identified itself as pretty much “NCG or failed”. That is Bama. National Championship expectations through and through. The roster is still one of the best. Smart, he took over a Georgia program that was pretty much happy with Bowl Games and/or the playoffs under Reicht. Prior to him? They were an ok program from what I remember during the 90s. Since the 1920’s there’s a handful of seasons where they haven’t even been in a bowl game. Throughout that period it is littered with conference championships and national championships to boot. 100 years of in or around the elite. Very different expectations at that program. Especially with what Saban was leaving him. I get you’ll still disagree, and that’s ok. But to me his seat is on fire and will be next season if he makes it.
  13. Doesn’t matter. Stats only reflect how they want to be interpreted by the investigator. Be it sample size, specifics or bias for what they are implying. At least that’s what I’ve got from a few of the posts in this thread who use/highlight them. Stats are great when you encompass the whole perspective top to bottom and not single identifiers or outliers for your point whilst omitting those that potentially discredit.
  14. All the best, sorry to hear of the misfortune. At first I thought you were in a “jam” by the title until I read and realized what you were meaning. Hope you stay strong and have plenty more games in the future, even a Super Bowl! Stay blessed!
  15. The foot bone's connected to the leg bone The leg bone's connected to the knee bone The wrist bone's connected to the neck bone Doin’ the skeleton dance
  16. Yea. We essentially flipped a 3rd rounder for a 5th and Cooper, presuming we don’t retain him. Like you referenced in his weather preference, when we traded for him; or any player for that matter I wondered how the performance will be when it’s 40° or colder.
  17. Honestly, if I ruined the season of a colleague I’d happily pay that fine. Except John from maintenance. He sucks.
  18. I can hear it now: ”Come on Jeffery, you can do it! Look at where you came from, look at you now!”
  19. Wait… people migrated? Who knew. Thought it was only other mammals.
  20. Great point that’s overlooked. They essentially are looking to have swapped a 3rd for a 5th if they let him walk. Not awful, not great. Reasonable for a guy of his talents for the remainder of the year @ a position of need.
  21. My next door neighbor is a Bucs fan and was talking to him on Wednesday afternoon about this. He’s not happy with Bowles. Believes that if the division wasn’t as bad as it has been since he took over from Arians that he would be in a job. Especially after this mess when your star receiver is out for a long period of time, you don’t risk the next best asset you have in meaningless play. Got to say I agree with him.
  22. Single brain celled ones, absolutely! I have 2! Wrists, not children. Or wives.
  23. Now now, don’t want him speeding to get her once he’s called.
  24. Mortgaging the future? Depends on your perspective. One, you get an immediate top-3 player at his position where there’s very little elite talent. You also have that talent until 2027 without an extension. The other, you’re giving up essentially 10 years of prospective play from 2 different positions. A chance to recoup future picks with trades or a chance to have better commodities to trade up for someone you believe to be elite at 5 of those 10 years at a team friendly cost controlled basis. Your last point is the most important. If this team feels Garrett, or any player fetching that price, can move the needle then they do it.
