That’s a good point but, and I could be wrong, just don’t see it for those guys. You’re talking 2 players who are 25 and 26. Productive at their position and clearly building blocks for their future. That Rams team isn’t blowing it up by any means, it just looks like they’re ready to move on from an aging and injured receiver and, if the reports are correct with Stafford, an aging QB.

No way they trade either of them bro. They just signed Curl and drafted Young last year; dude put up strong production. Him and Verse are a great pairing for the future.

He’s had 2 years back to back of decent production, is still young and has a lot of years left to play. I get it. Got to believe that the CMC issue was the biggest factor. Mason was an unknown being in a starter role and the other RB is Guerendo, a rookie and even more of an unknown in any capacity. Still, an absolute flop for the team unfortunately. Some horrible luck this season.

Just mentioned that season in another thread talking about Willis McGahee… Big Ben on that team and we make the playoffs. That season was an absolute cruddy start. A few games that were one score losses to start the season. Epic run to end the season that unfortunately and, for what you mention, ironically ended in a loss to the Steelers and their backups. 🤦‍♂️
