I caught the podcast him and Matt Patricia have dropped, Coach, quality football talk if that’s what you want.

Is Evans the only receiver in history to have 10 consecutive 1k receiving yard seasons to start their career. Can tie Jerry Rice for 11 consecutive 1k seasons if he accomplishes it this year.
-
They said that last year, they did a great job blowing out the Eagles and barely lost to the Lions. Weird those are the 2 teams you mention, don’t know if you realized that lol

Anyone watching the Cards/Chargers?

2018 QB draft and passer rating rankings this season
Sojourner replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
With Baker and Darnold turning their careers around that could go down as the third best draft for QBs. ‘83 is #1, obviously. Kelly/Marino/Elway ’04 is #2. Big Ben/Eli/Rivers Might even edge out ‘04. -
You might be right, might be jumping the gun a little bit either way his seat is on fire right now. But the difference back then was when Saban took over they had no quality players the years prior man… they went like 2 years before having no one drafted. Roman Harper is the only player of quality I can think of during the Shula period. DeBoer is getting one of the most talented rosters in football. He should be doing better.

Schefter: Metcalf considered “week to week”
Sojourner replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Willis was a f-ing dog those first 4 years in the league. Especially 2004 as a rookie. That game was insane. Cleveland and Arizona were great games too! Absolute blowouts @ home. That 04 was a great season if we didn’t have that game skid early where we lost what? 5 games by one score? Edit, Nevermind we won one of the first 6 games. 3 were one score or less; thought the Baltimore game was closer than it was -
Keon Coleman 5th In Rookie Receiving Yards
Sojourner replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tremble has been out the past few games and Sanders has come into his own filling that role. Looks like a decent pick for a 4th rounder. Point you have to look at is they are behind in all their games and forced to throw. Actually surprised Legette has only had 28 targets. -
Keon Coleman 5th In Rookie Receiving Yards
Sojourner replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Out of the “second batch” of WRs we could have had after the top 10 trio, I’ll happily settle with Keon. He’ll come into his own I’m sure, has shown flashes of it and the Cooper acquisition can only help. Not quite Brian Thomas but he has the better QB situation. Win-win. -
“Got out of there just in time, huh?”

JFC. That might be one of the best blocks to quip of it I’ve ever seen. Vader choke indeed 🤣 -
Keeping it in perspective, Bills win percentage
Sojourner replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
That is fair. He’s been pretty rough in coverage. Hamlin is a SS freelancing as the free due to lack of quality at the safety position overall. Rapp is the natural strong but there’s an ebb and flow to rotation in McD’s scheme. Would be nice if we had a legit ball hawk but we can’t have it all I guess. -
That’s a disgusting 4 week stretch of prime time lol

Still relatively early in the season for film and tape on other teams, so there’s that. Think of it like boxing, if I have tape on an orthodox fighter and he comes in southpaw all I can do is react until I get to the corner and can have a different, full view, perspective of the fight from the coaches to pick up on any tells or signs the opponent is giving. At least the adjustments after half time are of quality where teams are struggling to his changes. It would be nice to have a full game of control, sure. But as long as he’s making amendments to the scheme and game plan that come out in a positive effect for us? Keep at it. -
KC vs. Buffalo's record a microcosm of the Allen/Mahomes debate
Sojourner replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
The wrong way? To your perspective, sure. I can see that with what you’ve said. The other argument, my perspective, is that they have got bigger issues that aren’t going to mitigated by “mashing the accelerator” come crunch time, seem average on the road and play their better football at home. On top of that, are in for an 11 game stretch before the end of the season. The 9ers, especially Purdy, beat themselves and gifted KC an ugly win. -
We need to be a lot better on special teams

100%. He’s actually be the only real bright spot for that unit. -
KC vs. Buffalo's record a microcosm of the Allen/Mahomes debate
Sojourner replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not really a Mahomes/Allen post here… The thing that concerns me the most if I’m a Chiefs fan is that they just came off their bye week and played like absolute dog-sht. Not counting them out of anything by any means just if that is indeed an indicator better hope they get the #1 seed so they’re at Arrowhead come January. They really are the new Patriots, in a division that they just steamroll every year. Mahomes’ W/L against those teams is on the same trajectory Brady’s was. Dominance. -
Week 8 - Bills at Seahawks Game Week Thread
Sojourner replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
If their offense plays well you’re in for a long day when that defense can settle in especially if they get Woolen back, it might be a problem. That secondary could be number 1 comes the end of the season: Woolen/Witherspoon is a solid CB combo then you have Jenkins/Love which isn’t too shabby either. -
This is it entirely. It seems to have run its course. And like @DrDawkinstein, @NewEra and @Solomon Grundy said; losing both Nate Burleson and Kay Adams was likely the nail in the coffin for quality.

I wonder if Ray Davis plays like he has the times he’s been inserted into the game will they be more likely to lowball James Cook instead of overpaying to keep the player’s services like yesteryears. That is thankfully not a thought for another year.
