And to repeat, if a defender is making a bone head error in unnecessary contact or roughness then I have no problem with Josh dramatizing it a little. That is the defenders fault. Your own guy has a panache for doing exactly the same. Every player flops to a degree. The QBs I don’t even have a problem with as it’s always free yards. Again, that’s the defenders fault. Like we’ve seen with Josh and heard from Taron on this year alone, you can get away with stuff in the middle of a pile up or scrum for the ball. I get them standing behind Mahomes, I do. They should. But to reference Josh and his theatrics as that on par with Patrick is a wild take. Exactly like you referenced, the dudes had serious injuries and played it off. Pat, if he’s fully practicing like reports, has given the appearance that injuries twice this year seem like they could be severe if not borderline catastrophic. We were all lead to believe he’s going to miss time when he probably doesn’t. And again, it’s exactly like you closed that post with… Josh has had injuries where he should have missed time but was still playing. That says it all imo.

If Allen, or even someone other than Lamar (Saquon?), wins the MVP this year that’s fine I guess. I can accept that. But if they do in fact give it to Lamar again then there needs to fundamentally be an investigation into the voting process and it’s members. Every single vote should have transparency from this year and last and an explanation as to why, if Lamar does win, they voted for him. Josh had a better stat line and had the Bills only 2 games behind as the #2 seed. Lamar, whilst I agree has the more efficient stat line this year can’t walk away with it over even Jalen Hurts, Goff, Saquon and Josh. Not when the way it panned out last year. Curious what people behind Lamar with that stats have to say about last years MVP and the stats for Josh when coupled with the Bills record against that of Lamar and the Ravens this year.

The point you’re initially referencing is Allen and his theatrics. No problem with it personally, a player wants to hit him when he’s giving up and he sells it. That’s the defenders fault. They want to clash helmets and talk smack with him when the play is over? That’s on the defender. Guess you still believe Chris Jones aiming his leg to Josh’s knee on the “phantom” tripping play is acceptable. Several times this season alone we’ve seen players punching and hitting Josh that haven’t been penalized or even referenced by the league or its review process. Can’t blame the guy for selling the acting classes. Patty is just as good so you can’t even go there on that one. And myself, yes. Twice during my playing years I had a high ankle sprain. Coaches refused to let me play until at least two weeks of healing which meant missing a game. And I’m not worth half a billion dollars. But to your initial point, if anyone gimps around or plays an act with injuries, it’s Patrick. Absolutely. He’s done it already this in his career.

This is my feeling, and hope. They roll with Wentz against the Texans but lose narrowly. Feel they can run it again with him seeing as it’s such a short turnaround against Pittsburgh and drop another. That leaves Denver. If Mahomes is 100% he plays but if there’s still reservations regarding the ankle, what do they do? You know Denver is itching for payback on earlier’s result.

Absolutely. I’ll always love Stefon for what he put on the field here but when it came down to crunch time we more often than not forced the ball his way to suffice the team morale it seems. That’s fine in the regular season but you can’t skate by on that in the post season. He’s not big or fast enough to dominate in anything other than the technical finesse of route running, bracketing him with coverage essentially removed him. Similar to basketball, if a player is predominantly dominant and successful with only one side then you force the drive/dribble the opposite. This group of players exude joy when a teammate is making any sort of play. No matter how big or small and thankfully makes the team less inclined to funnel production towards one specific player. Make no bone about it though, Stef was an animal for us. Sadly the post season rarely saw the same production.

You know, not to rehash the exit of the playoffs but not having Bernard in that playoffs hurt us but we had a build up of the coaches designing the scheme without him. Benford going down early in the first quarter was the nail in the coffin. Taron is one of my favorite. In fact, I may get his number 7 jersey and double up lol 24 has served me well over the years; Schulz in the 90s, McGee, Gilmore and then Taron. Hopefully I don’t have to buy a Bishop jersey. It’s McGovern for me but Edwards is a close second. Dude has solidified that offense line at what was another concern after Morse left. No snap issues and looks to be have made Edwards a seamless addition next to him on the line. Not exactly a flashy choice but very important.

Similar to Gruden when he took to YouTube. The quality of information is up there but the production leaves a lot to be desired. It isn’t a make or break for me but I can see why some people would be put off and not even bother with it as it has the actual learning perspective rather than the allure of graphics. The content is more important than the dress up imo.
