No need to get fancy, it’s very simple. Fines or dismissal after X amount of errors in a season. If they make an incorrect call, miss a blatant penalty or have an error that affects the game negatively. As much as it is a second job, it’s also a luxury for a lot of referees given most get some form of collectible memorabilia via the position.

Was very surprised she was even retained in that position after losing the lawsuit filed against her… That job’s sole function is to protect the investment of a child’s future in education. Not make them more vulnerable in an already predatory situation.

Great point Steve. People don’t realize the cost it takes to legally come in to the USA. It’s a lot of money for people in countries with stable economies… Imagine coming from one without that or a low GDP? There is several steps to the process and you aren’t even guaranteed if you’ve paid. Get to the final step and are denied a temporary green card? Well, you start all over again; fees included. I see both sides of the issues, some don’t have the financial means etc and choose to risk it to better the lives of their families but like you alluded to, if someone has spent their life savings and managed to get her for a better prospect or future why should others be given the free ride because now all of a sudden it’s deemed a right?

There’s been times but all of those were blatantly bad that you can’t hold the flag. Same with the flacons game you mentioned where Ray Ray’s face mask is getting yanked and Mooney is being tackled downfield by Watson. Calls go against them, yes. But when it’s all said and done the flags fly on questionable calls for them and very little against them. They get the benefit of the doubt more often than not. The fact their starting right tackle isn’t set on the LOS and moves over half of the time tells you all you need to know.
