  1. Yeah, think how his new roommate Sam feels.
  2. Well we have a little more luxury as it stands right now with our division. Chiefs, even @ 9-0 have the Chargers and Broncos left on their schedule and a handful of games behind them in their standings. Will they be knocked outta first in the AFC West? Probably not but they still have to give themselves some room. Wrap that division up and they may rest him for the remaining weeks.
  3. Week 14 bye weeks are insane. In a world of hypotheticals, could you imagine if the division was actually a competition and the following were true: we had our bye week as early as those in Weeks 5&6 the Pats actually being better than what they are with Maye (a la Jayden Daniels and Washington) having a week 14 bye week and then playing our Bills twice after that bye week to end the season. In other words, thank goodness for them being a rough team firstly. Secondly, thankful we also have a later bye week.
  4. Exactly! That Pats game, wow. Shows it all like you said. He’s waiting for the big play more often than not and when he isn’t it seems the throws he has the ability to easily make just aren’t there. These aren’t the ones either where there’s anticipation on the throw. He is rarely even attempting them. You hit the nail on the head, so many moments that kill the offense and that more often than not is squarely on Caleb, sadly for him and bears fans.
  5. Pretty much with you on this Andy. I think even if our Bills end up with the 1 seed, Josh doesn’t win. If they gave it to Lamar last year when Josh clearly had the better statistical performance other than rushing yards then he has pretty much no shot like you said. Especially when you’re factoring in Lamar is going to eclipse his performance on pretty much everything from last season.
  6. I still can’t believe what I saw the 10+ times I’ve watched that play. Never seen the whole side of a line get steamrolled the way the whole left side of their FG unit did. 69/54/79… all 3 dudes are, and this isn’t a joke, laying on the ground. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
  7. When people mention this I try and think, would he have been successful here? Then I remember Fitz was QB during those first years he was in the league and made Scott Chandler successful. Probably doesn’t get a second contract here but is successful nonetheless. Sucks. Another what could have been.
  8. 100%. Definitely the best week of games so far. Seahawks/9ers is an interesting watch for divisional standings in that west
  9. Disagree man. I’ve watched a few Bears games and they aren’t terrible. Average pass blocking but Caleb is holding on to the football way too long and is throwing some of the lowest catchable ball %. The Bears are around the top of the league in run blocking stats and middle of the pack for pass. The average time for giving up a sack is 3.66 seconds on the season…
  10. Very specific. Nice train of thought.
  11. Agreed. Josh is very scarce for putting his guys in harms way but man, how you can’t put the blame on him there is wild. Unintentional of course but still to blame.
  12. Good call Jag. I did this myself yesterday morning!
  13. Cover 1/Locked On Bills/Buffalo Plus are all solid but my favorite has to be Eric Wood’s “Centered on Buffalo”. It has the @ tags “thebuffalopod” though.
  14. Eberflus is a problem, undoubtably. But Williams has an insane amount of talent on that offense, some of the problem has to fall at his own feet. Jayden Daniels, with a lesser cast of weapons, is killing it in Washington. Kliff bombed in AZ and there was question marks whether he could facilitate the growth of Daniels. He’s played his part but credit has to go to the QB himself just as much. The talk is their firing their OC so Eberflus is already finding a scape goat.
  15. Most dominant defender I’ve seen recently. JJ Watt close. Easily on par with Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White and Bruce as game wreckers every single play.
  16. There’s no one happier with Brandon Codrington than Brandon Codrington himself. The guy was going to be a Jet. Yikes!
  17. Rams DLine/Edge players are young and solid. Just imagine if they still had Aaron Donald. Any team wouldn’t mind having a Verse/Young/Turner/Fiske combination.
  18. Well yeah. But it’s still the process lol
  19. Great points. I don’t think this game matters that much as we want it to. It would certainly be nice to go into the bye week at 9-2 and netting a win against the team in pole position as the AFC #1 seed but 8-3 isn’t back breaking by any means. This game if they lose it handily to us could change the course of their season. @Panthers, Raiders, Chargers, @Browns, Texans, @Steelers, @Broncos. That is their remaining schedule. Go on a hypothetical of the way they are playing… is there any guaranteed wins other than maybe the Panthers? Raiders haven’t faired very well against KC since Reid arrived but the last 2 games have been a split and 1 score. That’s with just as rough a roster as right now. Chargers are in the same boat as Oakland. They haven’t come out with many wins against Reid and KC; 5-18 since he arrived but the saving grace is that in the last 6 games, 5 have been decided by one score. Browns beat Baltimore so there is capability to win if Winston doesn’t implode like yesterday against the Chargers. Texans? Great defense. Have a load of talent across the board but haven’t produced quality on offense for most/a whole game since losing Collins. He’ll be back by the time they face off. Steelers are the Steelers but have the absolute worst remaining schedule I. The league. It is absolute brutal. They’ll come to play as I suspect the division and a playoff wild card spot are on the line between them and Baltimore. Won’t be easy for them either way. Lastly the Broncos. I would have pegged this game as a loss before last week but with the manner in which Denver lost and very well could be in the mix for the playoffs, I bet they come to play. Hopefully they fix some things and field a better offensive product. 2¢
  20. For that to happen, he has to clear waivers from what I am reading.
  21. When I saw the thread title I just asked myself “why would they cut their most productive linebacker?” He’s not their most productive linebacker but their most productive defensive player next to their FS Julian Love. I absolutely agree with you. Something has to be coming that they are privy to. Doesn’t make sense otherwise.
  22. You didn’t get the sarcasm. That’s why I highlighted everything lol
  23. Two incredibly close misses from the kicker on back to back attempts. Well done Detroit. Play one of the worst games by a QB and still win.
  24. So the threshold for Houston seems to be 24 points. Score above that and it’s pretty much a win.
  25. Channel his inner Space Jam R. Kelly.
