  1. You forgot to mention Shady putting on the moves like Sister Disco. It will certainly be Another Tricky Day for Dalton.
  2. as The Tuna used to say, "Defense wins championships."
  3. What did Giselle say after she kicked you in the nuts?
  4. ^This. Long season, folks, exasperated by 17 years of futility. Stay classy and resist the urge to gloat.
  5. Seth Maxwell (Mac Davis) in North Dallas Forty
  6. Interesting take on Gillislee and the Pats* running game as well as Gilmore and his impact so far.
  7. I am a transplant living in CT and a friend here grew up in the same town (Bristol, CT) as A. Hernandez and his father knows/knew the Hernandez family. He (father) said that Hernandez was a good kid until his father, who was a strong influence and role model, passed away. He got in with the wrong crowd after that and it went downhill from there.
  8. LOL, things are definitely contentious on Sundays. She stopped talking to me during the 3rd quarter of Thursday's game. Wasn't that Tony Eason? We were in college then so memory is a bit fuzzy.
  9. I married one. Her favorite Patriot of all time is Grogan.
  10. ^ this. Spiller rented a house near a good friend of mine, who said CJ was a great guy.
  11. agreed, just providing an answer to the question posed by Biscuit. Look how successful Flutie was...
  12. My niece is 25 and she confirmed this while contemplating a move from NYC, however she ended up in Beantown.
  13. totally agree. I moved away in 1989 and really hadn't spent much time in Buffalo since then. I drove through the city last fall on the way to a weekend in OP (unfortunately it was for the Pats* game) and was amazed how much activity there was. My buddy gave me a tour of the city, complete with a stop at Big Ditch. I'll be back this fall.
  14. Cowart was a beast. Didn't Takeo Spikes also tear his achilles?
  15. Agreed, a bad example. The Bills were stocked and the trade for Biscuit cemented the defense. The point is that Polian had balls and Beane, though not proven at this point, seems to have the same. Time will tell.
  16. I haven't read through the numerous threads and posts on the topic but have to say "Yes". I'm not a big fan of ESPN.com these days but generally find Bill Barnwell's columns insightful and agree with his assessment of the trade (I'm sure most of you have seen this already and apologize if this is stale). http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20313763/winners-losers-buffalo-bills-los-angeles-rams-philadelphia-eagles-mega-trades-sammy-watkins-jordan-matthews-ronald-darby
  17. Imagine how this board would have reacted to the trade that sent Greg Bell plus two first round picks and a second round pick for Biscuit.
  18. But we won the offseason, right?
  19. I haven't lived in Buffalo since 1988 but when I did live there, people wouldn't hassle a Bills or Sabres player if they were seen at the grocery store, restaurant, bar etc. We used to see Jeff Wright and the Kelly clan at Rappl's in OP and everyone treated it like a non-event. That still seems to be the case. Some of my high school buddies and I were tailgating at the season opener several years ago next to a bunch of Sabres players and people pretty much left them alone other than the occasional "Go Sabres!" shout out. That has to be a nice change from other places where the players are hassled for autographs everywhere they go.
  20. Who scored the first touchdown for the Bills in "the Comeback"?
