  1. Goodbye Vlad (and most likely bodine now).
  2. In a recent interview, McD talked about getting pressure on the QB and mentioned he thought outside (DE) pressure was easier to counter than inside (DT). I think it was his PC from the nfl meetings?
  3. Supposedly, Sirles can play anywhere on the line, supposedly...
  4. Ducasse will probably go first. I could see them holding onto Bodine through TC, to see if Morse stays healthy, then let him go. .??
  5. Long is a C/G, so they probably drop bodine even if long starts at one of the G spots. Bodine offers no flexibility as a backup.
  6. Yes, the rookies’ salaries add no more than $4 mil to the 51, which will be offset when they let ducasse and bodine go.
  7. I thought I would take this opportunity to say, I agree with you.
  8. The reason this does make a lot of sense (and I'm warming up to it) is they need a young, elite stud on the D-line going forward, and they feel this is the last time they will be in the top 10 for a long time. Getting to 5 or 6 is doable. Thanks for posting because the Board needed something substantive to distract us for awhile....
  9. Thanks. Would you have a link to a story? I'd love to read more about it.
  10. Hmmm...so they somehow let a pic get posted on Twitter showing Allen #1--Did the picture get posted before or after they drafted Allen? Obvious answer. Albright I'm sure was told that the Bills contacted Denver about a trade, as everyone knew the Bills wanted to move up to grab a QB. And he probably heard or was fed they liked Allen, as he got info on Peterman the year before (Beane wasn't there). He also had the Browns taking Darnold. And guess who was pushing the Paradis to the Bills rumor? So, I'm not saying they're infallible, but this regime runs a much tighter ship than any in recent memory. I have one minor contact to the Bills, and last year he said they had things absolutely shut down compared to how things were in the past.
  11. I agree with what @mjt328 said, Beane would certainly try to find out what it would cost to move up if one of Bosa, Allen, or Williams slides.
  12. This is speculating they want to move up and get someone, like Whaley did with Watkins
  13. This regime doesn’t let info like that leak.
  14. Yep, a lot of mocks have him gone by then. While I like the idea of trading back, I think the drop off in what's considered top level talent occurs as you get past 10. It will of course depend on how many QBs go ahead of the Bills.
  15. Can you provide evidence of the highlighted above?
  16. just in case anyone is interested in those on the left who were on the correct side...
  17. One can hope this will happen, but I'm very skeptical that this group, the liberal part of the Deep State, will be exposed. That genie could not be put back in the bottle, and there are too many others across the political spectrum who would get caught up in it.
  18. To paraphrase Henny Youngman, "take my life, please..."
  19. As I'm sure you know, under Obama it was never about ISIS, it was about Assad and regime change.
  20. Yes, it was a subtle suggestion that Beane is one smart dude. ?
  21. Much like the Bills' team itself, the collection of signings this year typifies the phrase "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts." Looking at the current roster, it's almost as if two of their top needs (DT and TE) align with the R1 talent in the draft....
  22. I think the best possible outcome is that a larger part of the population will become aware that the MSM is more a propaganda mechanism for the elite (or deep state if you will) than a source of "news."
  23. It takes time to change perception, and like it or not, buffalo has not been a destination for FAs. With the exception of Morse, maybe their #1 need, they were very strategic this year; much like in McD's first year, but with more money. McD brought in two under the radar players to man the backfield in Poyer and Hyde. This year I am sure they had Nsekhe, Feliciano, Brown, Kroft, and Beasley high on their target list. Individually, not a lot to get excited about, collectively they markedly improve the O, especially when you throw in their one high-end FA Morse. I think Dan Morgan probably deserves a lot of credit for their FA moves this year.
  24. My response to DR's posting of a twit about it in this thread, "It would be difficult for Trump to find a worse choice." Don't take my word for it though, this from the conservative economist Greg Mankiw: Memo to Senate: Just Say No A couple of weeks ago, I gave a talk at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. I said that, although I am not a fan of President Trump, I have to give him credit for making good appointments to the Fed. I was thinking about people like Jay Powell, Rich Clarida, and Randy Quarles. Then today the president nominates Stephen Moore to be a Fed governor. Steve is a perfectly amiable guy, but he does not have the intellectual gravitas for this important job. If you doubt it, read his latest book Trumponomics (or my review of it). It is time for Senators to do their job. Mr. Moore should not be confirmed.
