Definitely option 2. I was in favor of signing both Shaq and Phillips, but I'm now leaning toward Shaq only. Shaq has outperformed Trent, who is over-paid for his production. Also, his clueless play against the Titans, collapsing in on a fake, was not the first time he's done that. Go with Shaq and Daryl Johnson at LDE, and Jerry/Yannick at RDE. Hughes played 64% of snaps this year, and it's most likely time for him to throttle down to 50%. As for Phillips, 2020 is the year of the horse, Ed Oliver. Get him over 60% of the snaps, then both add a 3-tech vet and draft someone.

Agree mostly. A couple corrections. Harrison is the back up to Star, so they’d need someone to back up Ed if JPhillips goes, and it sounded to me like he won’t be back. I think you mean Daryl Johnson, the DE. If they bring Shaw back, then Trent is most likely gone, especially if they like Daryl.

You're creating a straw man argument. Most of what I've seen is people suggesting they needed a bigger target as an option, especially with Foster's lack of production. From my perspective, he produced significantly more than I expected as the fourth WR, and he gave them the opportunity to actually make that type of throw to the end zone.

What most of us have been suggesting, given the roster, he is a better option than Foster. You suggested playing "Duke "didn't work." It's clear that he gave the Bills passing game more than Foster has all season. So what makes you say it didn't work, one play?

No blame here, but it sure looked like Edmunds could've taken that fumble a long way. Oliver was trying to get him up, and he finally did but too late. Would like to see a wide view of that play.
