This puts Mayfield in the same boat as Tyrod! All Mayfield needs to do is learn to read defenses and he will beat out Taylor. It slays me hearing about Tyrod's little attitude against the Bills. I can't even imagine what he is going to feel when Cleveland has him riding the pine.

McCarron holds on to the ball too long. Tyrod could get away with it because he was a MUCH faster runner. The Browns treated McCarron like teams would Tyrod - Make him throw the ball - sack! Allen came in and (yes he was rushed) got the ball out quick. Do THAT a few times and the defense has to back off some. In all fairness Nate Peterman ALSO gets the ball out quicker than McCarron. One more thing - I just re-watched last nights game and I did not see any play that would lead me to believe that AJ could have been hurt or injured. Looked like some fairly routine type sacks. Allen took some brutal sacks though. All that said, our O-Line SUCKS and the only way (other than getting better players) is not giving the defense enough time to attack. IMO

Not only will this temp guy have to have some time to get ready for preseason 4, we still need a third QB for practice.

Essentially, I think Shaw is saying that we will get to see how Allen plays under (his own) pressure. Allen knows that THIS is the chance that Beane and McD spoke of IF he played well in preseason ONE. McD and Beane are NOT putting pressure on the kid! They say they will bring him along SLOWLY. AJ McCarron does NOT want to be a back up QB! IMO Peterman would be the Frank Reich kind of guy, happy with being a backup. All things being equal, it would be silly to dump Peterman and keep AJ when AJ will most certainly move on after his contract is up.

The video shows KB talking to another player and Cam walks up and "dismisses" the person KB is talking to. That is a BULLY move. KB would not shake Cam's hand or capitulate and thus turned and walked away. WHY does this make KB look bad? How many here would "bend over" in public to someone you are having a tiff with. Lord knows why KB is really mad. May not even have to do with football. If Cam really wanted to "mend fences" a private meeting would have been where to begin. I think Cam was pulling a Bully move.
