Thinking back to last year's preseason, I'd say Peterman was maybe a 4 and Tyrod was a 6, just based on what I remember. After only one week, I figure you have to grade Peterman and mcCaron ats 9s, and JA as a 6. Still not a lot of data, but in general, Im genuinely encouraged. Id rather see good play than bad play in the preseason even if it doesnt mean a lot.

Reminds me of Bret Favre, 25 years younger and 10 percent bigger and more athletic. I'll take it.

Listening to Sal's segments will never be the same.

Tom Brady is 41. He cant live forever, and there is no heir apparent. Brady wont play forever. He wont be healthy forever. Our organization is finally being run by adults. I think the playing field is leveling. Finally.

Sad day. Tim Graham out at Buffalo News

I think that TBN putting up the paywall was the sign that the end was near. I hate paywalls, and there is good content everywhere. I wish him well. It's just a different world. -

Watching the snow game my kids jumped up and started dancing when they saw Tre doing it. Love him! -
NFL's Best Kept Secrets: Jordan Poyer
mykidsdad replied to BrotherChazz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To be fair I think the author was only evaluating rookie contract and inexpensive players to find value type gems. Williams is an awesome pick, but he is paid well, and is no longer on the money saving rookie deal. From this regime I think Milano was their best value pick so far. -
Great post. Thanks for sharing the video.

John Ledyard on with Schopp & Sal today

No one knows anything until we all do. But boy oh boy I'm hoping..... At first I thought this seemed outrageous, but if you think about it, its probably true: these two players could be awesome. Now, they may not pan out, but as far as upside is concerned Allen and Edwards are truly players in the first round that have a chance of being great, not just very good but great. Its like we had two at bats and we swung for the fences on both. We could strike out, but we have the most potential coming out of the first round of any team this year. Part of that is because we had 2 picks which multiplies the chance of this being a truly memorable first round, but also, neither pick was safe. These are all-ins. Raw talent, energy, potential. Can these coaches guide them to greatness? Time will tell. I'm worried, but holding out hope. We rolled the dice and there's a stack of chips on the line. For my peace of mind, I just think of Edmunds being our 7 and Allen being our 16th, because truth be told Edmunds seems more likely to be a homerun. -
Happy 1st Anniversary, Brandon Beane!

It's been a great first year. The drought ended. If he does nothing else, he'll be remembered for that. -
Tremaine Edmunds Scouting Report

I'm so much more excited about Edmunds than Allen. He looks like a star in the making. -
All Josh Allen haters. Please respond below
mykidsdad replied to mead107's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The comparisons to Wentz fall short because Allen didn't dominate the competition he was against. If he was that good, he should have dominated. The hope I suppose is that he improves A LOT. Rosen is a mile ahead of Allen when it comes to playbooks, reads, rhythm passing, footwork, and all of the other details that make QBs good in the NFL. Allen is just raw. Fingers crossed that he gets it. -
I'm not a Josh Allen hater. I just think Rosen is a much better option. I hope I'm wrong. But I'm disappointed. I love that Rosen wants to make us pay. That kind of fire and honesty would be refreshing, but I'm afraid what I liked about Rosen (his edge) is what kept the Bills from drafting him. Again, I don't hate Allen as a pick, but I would have loved Rosen. Fingers crossed that I'm wrong, and the Bills did the right thing.

Bring Mack to Buffalo? If it were possible, YES! But, I think we're dreaming if we think it was possible.

3-23: Josh Rosen on the Rich Eisen Show
mykidsdad replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At this point, I think Rosen reminds me a lot of Peyton, but maybe with more edge to his personality. Peyton didn't need the paycheck, either. He was driven to be great because his family instilled that into his character. His successful parents got there because they worked hard and took pride in being excellent. Russell Wilson's parents were successful, and strong character people, too. You never know until you know, but I would trade whatever it takes to make sure we get him, and that may mean going to number one because I could see him landing there if the Brown's don't get the price they want. Maybe the only reason why Cleveland is being coy is that they're not sure who other people have on their board and they're in the market to sell the pick if the price is right. Please, Beane, get this guy! -
Josh Rosen's intermediate & vertical game
mykidsdad replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow. Those are some amazing throws. Rosen seems to be legit. He could be a real trajectory changer for us. Fingers crossed. To have a real franchise QB, seems to be good to be true. -
His hit on Tre was an audition! Now I get it!
