  1. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2792785-are-the-buffalo-bills-already-the-nfls-worst-team?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial We are continuing to see some very negative predictions about the Bills 2018 season. The consensus seems to be that the team is bad, because the personel decisions have been bad. Do we trust the process here, or are these guys right? I was feeling good before Cincy, but now I'm feeling like maybe there is real reason to doubt. Will we really be the worst in the league? Is our trajectory downward or middling again? Someone please give me reasons not to believe what these guys are saying.
  2. Shopp is smug and his opinions are stale. Criticism of the Bills is not something I take personally, and i don't like your generalization.
  3. Schopp was good when he was Rochester. I think he has just become an old crumudgeon, someone who is never happy about anything. And the fact that he brags about not watching Bills games? Wow. I don't care if they are glorified practices. There's value in watching, becuase there's news and insight in it. Maybe not a lot, but something. Sal goes to every practice. Does Shcopp think he's wasting his time, too? What an insult to Sal! And for my money, Sal's the best thing on the entire station. Give me someone who cares and has some insight, not the same old tired grumbling. When I go to the WGR podcasts, I look for Sal and special guests that seem interesting. Schopp is a black cloud. I hope he has a plan B for a career, because if what happened at TBN is any indication, WGR will have to clean house sooner or later. It's just getting to be too competitive in the radio business. I mean who on the radio is closer to Sully than Shcopp? Could the end be near? Who wants to hear the radio version of Sully every friggin' day? Not me.
  4. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-refocused-2018-bills-19-browns-17 Interesting that PFF has little to say about Josh Allen's progress. I normally have a lot of confidence with their analytics and when they came out strongly against Josh Allen, I was really discouraged. If they end up being wrong on this, it may be one of their bigger misses using their advanced stats. It seems to me that they're already being a little stuborn about Josh's early success. It is very early, still, but I would have expected them to say something about him. Could Josh possibly ding their credibility?
  5. My son and I were watching the game thinking the same thing. We dodged a bullet. Playing him once every four, is better than twice a year. And if we hit on Allen......
  6. Thinking back to last year's preseason, I'd say Peterman was maybe a 4 and Tyrod was a 6, just based on what I remember. After only one week, I figure you have to grade Peterman and mcCaron ats 9s, and JA as a 6. Still not a lot of data, but in general, Im genuinely encouraged. Id rather see good play than bad play in the preseason even if it doesnt mean a lot.
  7. Reminds me of Bret Favre, 25 years younger and 10 percent bigger and more athletic. I'll take it.
  8. Listening to Sal's segments will never be the same.
  9. Tom Brady is 41. He cant live forever, and there is no heir apparent. Brady wont play forever. He wont be healthy forever. Our organization is finally being run by adults. I think the playing field is leveling. Finally.
  10. I think that TBN putting up the paywall was the sign that the end was near. I hate paywalls, and there is good content everywhere. I wish him well. It's just a different world.
  11. Watching the snow game my kids jumped up and started dancing when they saw Tre doing it. Love him!
  12. I hate being rude, but serioisly? Is this an actual post? The Cavs DID win in 2016, so this post doesn't make sense. Am I being trolled here?
  13. To be fair I think the author was only evaluating rookie contract and inexpensive players to find value type gems. Williams is an awesome pick, but he is paid well, and is no longer on the money saving rookie deal. From this regime I think Milano was their best value pick so far.
  14. No one knows anything until we all do. But boy oh boy I'm hoping..... At first I thought this seemed outrageous, but if you think about it, its probably true: these two players could be awesome. Now, they may not pan out, but as far as upside is concerned Allen and Edwards are truly players in the first round that have a chance of being great, not just very good but great. Its like we had two at bats and we swung for the fences on both. We could strike out, but we have the most potential coming out of the first round of any team this year. Part of that is because we had 2 picks which multiplies the chance of this being a truly memorable first round, but also, neither pick was safe. These are all-ins. Raw talent, energy, potential. Can these coaches guide them to greatness? Time will tell. I'm worried, but holding out hope. We rolled the dice and there's a stack of chips on the line. For my peace of mind, I just think of Edmunds being our 7 and Allen being our 16th, because truth be told Edmunds seems more likely to be a homerun.
  15. It's been a great first year. The drought ended. If he does nothing else, he'll be remembered for that.
  16. I apologize if this has been posted before, but it gives me a little bit of hope.
  17. I'm so much more excited about Edmunds than Allen. He looks like a star in the making.
