  1. What? Sammy- 3 receptions for 14 yards in the first matchup on TNF. Definitely got the better of him today.
  2. Agreed on the success aspect, complete different scheme now though.
  3. Are these coach comeback threads serious? Not trying to be a dick, but how often do coaches return to previous organizations within a few years of leaving/being let go?
  4. Amazing what a 65 inch TV will do for a fat guys morale. Kidding aside, very good news, best interior lineman we have had in years.
  5. Today yes, I find it hard to argue the lather. Also factor in the run/pass ratio for the Jets (Chan), I'd say the Jets had a very poor gameplan.
  6. I find it very hard to believe the entire season Sammy Watkins was "open". Biggest difference today was the Jets gave Revis a single responsibility- Sammy. And Sammy exploited this. Looking at other games this season, defenses rolled multiple defenders, double teamed, and switched up matchups on Sammy way more frequently than today.
  7. I'm all for TT being the starter next year and believe he has shown enough to warrant so. I also believe we should draft a QB as well in case he hits a wall, to cover ourselves and not put all our eggs in one basket. Learn from the EJ experience. Don't go all in until one is pretty damn certain he's the guy.
  8. "We're not where we want to be, we know that"
  9. Vicious hit on Ridley today. Hardest hit by a Bills defender I can remember in weeks. It was great to see.
  10. And EJ still has better numbers than Peyton after 16 starts.
  11. Highest first round pick since McGahee in 2003 #progress
  12. These stats aren't correct. Sammy had 49 rec. and 900 yds and 7 TD's over last 9 games. Still very impressive, hopefully this continues and he can put a full season together.
  13. Alright buddy relax, I just called you out because you owned being wrong and then quickly deviated to asking the all high and mighty whether it was ok to target your inaccuracies. It was comical. No hard feelings.
  14. No man, I read a lot of the topics and a lot of your posts and your just wrong a lot.
  15. Draft another Oregon Chip recruit in a late round this year and deal him for Fletcher Cox.
  16. Highly doubt Goodwin and/or Harvin were the missing link this year.
  17. Bold take. Considering the following league leaders in rushing attempts this year: 1. Carolina: 14-0 (33.9 Att/G) 2. Seattle: 9-5 (31.6 Att/G) 3. Us: 6-8 (30.4 Att/G) 4. Arizona: 12-2 (29.5 Att/G) http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&season=2015&seasonType=REG&offensiveStatisticCategory=RUSHING&role=TM&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-p=1&conference=ALL&d-447263-s=RUSHING_ATTEMPTS_PER_GAME_AVG
  18. Your right. EJ is.
  19. NJ. Income tax is paid specific to state in which you are employed.
  20. What's next? We fight. We won't quit, these kids don't quit.
  21. How do we get him back? When we re-enter rebuild mode to match his scheme, you'll wish Pegs was quicker to the axe. It's not a matter of if Rex will be fired, just when.
  22. This was supposed to be a win-now roster, that's extremely cap heavy on defense. Rex took this job and was supposed to be able to get us over the hump and back to the playoffs right away. He was supposed to be able to maximize this talent, add some tweaks to the previous regime, and produce an elite product. Needing a full year (on to year 2) of having players adjust to the scheme and learn to communicate was not the preset expectations of the organization. Now it's clear that full blown changes are going to be made on the defensive side of the ball. For what? To give a below .500 HC the players he needs? The defensive players we have already proved they can be a playoff caliber defense in a wide 9 scheme. Easier to get rid of one guy or revamp an entire roster that took years to build? I guess that's the question.
