  1. You could argue any late hit is dirty, and he's certainly had a handful of those.
  2. More impressive than being a multiple Pro-Bowler.
  3. Not sure there's a lot to base that off of when he's played less than 2 full seasons.
  4. Maybe he can't beat out Telvin Smith?
  5. Fair enough. I am just finding it more and more criminal that Clay has the most practical guarantees, 4th most guaranteed money percentage and a top 7 average salary at his position, yet is #138 with yards in the NFL. I realize that TT's limitations, Clay's inability to stay healthy, and the playcalling all play a factor in that. But it's bothersome. He is being paid well enough to be treated as a #2 receiver in our offense, IMO. Similar to Maclin/Kelce, Cooks/Fleener, Hilton/Allen, Green/Eifert. And all those guys crush him. 24th on the WR pay list and he's 25th on the TE play list. I don't think he contributes in other ways nearly enough to justify his pay.
  6. Which makes him a top tier #2 receiver and borderline #1, in terms of resources allocated. He needs to be utilized as such.
  7. Rex Ryan historically has had some great games. However, his teams have almost always lacked focus, and an inability to string together high-level performances. That's his major flaw until proven otherwise.
  8. Successful business owner, yes. Successful franchise owner, no. From both a monetary (see Forbes latest article on where the Bills rank in team value) and performance aspect, Terry hasn't proved anything yet. You can make the exact same claim regarding the performance of the Sabres. Being successful in the oil and gas business does not crown one successful in the sports business. http://www.forbes.com/teams/buffalo-bills/
  9. Rex or Sammy?
  10. Cue the "this is how Tyrod should be used" threads. May have a point...
  11. Charles James about to be cut before the end of the first quarter
  12. If the opportunity presents itself, I would trade him in a heartbeat for two first round picks.
  13. Very true. We should give Rex another year because of this.
  14. Well we are really screwed if Palmer is what you consider the weak link.... Considering Carson has the 10th best raw QBR thus far in 2016 and was ranked number 1 in raw QBR in 2015
  15. Because Dareus played last year and we still sucked.
  16. I don't think so. We've certainly heard evidence to the contrary.
  17. It probably should be a requirement of trying to malign someone personally.
  18. Not to mention that was word for word Baltimore's gameplan straight from their defense.
  19. What's your definition of a fact? If a source inside the building tells Ian Rappoport, or tells a poster on TBD, what's the difference? By your criteria, we can never believe in any of the vast majority of reports, both Bills and NFL related.
  20. I guess I would take Whaley's opinion over who was the best coach for the Bills over anyone else at OBD. That being said, he could've been wrong. It's certainly happened before.
  21. Good or better than Rex? I think that's an important distinction.
  22. Because he was Whaley's first choice.
  23. Malarkey. The offensive talent was way worse than it is now. Defensive talent was about the same, he just hired better coaches. If Kyle Orton had started week 1 of 2014, we almost certainly make the postseason that year. I don't see how playing the best QB on the roster to win the most games is a selfish move. Especially when the whole team was basically on board.
  24. Every coach besides Rex has gotten 3+ years. Not sure how that makes it a carousel or a lack of patience.
  25. The question was how can the current set up lead to dysfunction. I never claimed any of this stuff was going on. But it's a clear danger.
