Fred deserved a proper send off. Everyone knew his time in Buffalo was coming to an end. To cut him, two weeks before the season opener is a slap in the face to him. You had players (AW) wearing his number to honor him, Bradham saying he was devastated and KW/Eric Wood saying they are shocked and stunned by what happened. Here we are two weeks before the start of the season and we cut one of the most respected players in the history of our organization. Let him go in March, give him a Steve Smith type retirement ending season, don't cut him with Ross Cockrell and a bunch of guys who won't ever play a down in this league again. It was the wrong way to go about parting ways.

For the amount of trades that happen in the NFL... we sure do waste a ton of time with these bogus hypotheticals. Yes, 22+ snaps in the preseason have proven that Robert Woods is expendable.

We haven't been able to score a touchdown against a first string defense with our ones. How can anyone predict an above .500 record and be taken seriously? Pittsburgh's 2nd string defense stuffed our "best" weapons. Shouldn't have let him go.

I disagree with that. I can remember at least 3 distinct plays where Gordon/Cameron made a poor play on the ball. They weren't perfect throws, but they were catches you would expect an NFL WR/TE to make.

Buffalo for example.... Did you consider their unproven injury prone QB with no reliable backup? The loss of their leading tackler from a year ago? An unproven head coach who was .500 at the college level? Everyone has weaknesses/concerns, but those are way more glaring than any of our divisional rivals.
