I don't know how much of today's offensive numbers you can take seriously. It seemed as if they were playing prevent for much of the second half. Offense did not get moving until the game was basically out of reach.

While we have had success early on during the seasons you referred to (and eventually collapsed)... We never had the national media attention and hoopla we are getting right now. This is something I haven't seen before with this franchise.

Tackling. I think we will see a very similar offensive approach by the Pats that was taken against Seattle in the Super Bowl last year. A lot of quick passes across the line of scrimmage to RBs, Edelman, Amendola etc. We have to get off blocks and wrap up. The Pats are the best in the league at turning a 1 yard pass into a 11 yard gain. Our corners need to play even better then they did last week. Brady has executed the dink and dunk gameplan against us to perfection for nearly a decade. (See last year's 27 of 37 for 361 yards and 4 TDs performance at against us at home). We must be able to stop/contain their quick passing attack in order to have a chance IMO.

I don't think that Luck is better than Brady right now. And I don't think the Pats are worried about us. Why? Rex Ryan has a career record of 4-8 vs. New England. 1-7 since 2010. Last year, Brady went for 361 yards and 4 TD's against us at home. They have no reason to be worried about this game based on past history. That said, I hope we can finally show we can go toe to toe with the Pats.

That statement alone, I completely disagree with. Nevertheless, Brady for the past decade always seems to have his A+ game against us. Until we reverse that trend, they don't have to be worried.

Because we still are unsure of what we have at the QB position and the defense can't get that much better based on last years numbers. Let's hope TT pans out.

I voted C. C is average. We have been average since he's been here. Until we take the next step with the 53 he stocks the cupboard with, the letter grade stays the same.

I see it...they are more of a superbowl team then the Bills, they have an elite QB who still hasn't come close to reaching his ceiling. We have no one who is proven at the most important position in the game.

McKelvin, Gilmore, and Aaron Williams (granted he changed to safety) were pretty bad at first and improved as time went on. Hoping they have a gameplan in place to hide Darby until he "gets it". It is evident that he is not quite there yet.

I'd prefer if an elite QB did not pick on our rookie CB, but that is just me. Love the optimism... I think it will be a huge test for us considering many are predicting the Colts and Luck to take the next step this year and make it to Santa Clara.
