This is Rex Ryan we are talking about. Do you think we are going to sit back and rush four, similar to Schwartz's impressive year last season? Rex talks up Gilmore like he is Revis. He is not. We won't be rushing four and we will be leaving our corners on an island. Our defense will be good based on the talent we have overall, but IMO will not be better statistically than 2014 Bills D.

We play the Pats twice a season. Based on some of the posters here, you'd think beating the Pats twice clinched a Super Bowl berth. Rex Ryan has a 46-50 career HC record. He hasn't posted an above .500 season since 2010. And his win-loss record against Brady and the Patriots was 3-8 as HC with the Jets.

I'm saying the Rex Ryan glory days of defense had CBs that were on another level compared to anybody we have on this roster right now. And that is worrisome when the scheme relies so heavily on man to man outside coverage.

Are we that much more talented defensively? His scheme relies heavily on the CB position, if you can't lock down cover on the outside, the scheme struggles. You cannot tell me anyone on the Bills roster is close to a Revis/Cromartie in their prime level. Look at how the Jets D performed when they were injured and how they performed with a sub par secondary last season.

Yup. I believe Rex is the most overrated HC in the history of the NFL based on his entire body of work. If it wasn't for his straight forward personality and media antics, he would be just another guy and more than likely a DC candidate. Where is this misconception coming from? His record against AFC east teams proves otherwise.

I really doubt O'Leary has any trade value. Maybe if they include Uncle Jack's green jacket.

Ok. But there has to be a backup right? And someone who backs up the backup? Fred was and still is a top 3 RB on this team for this season. Especially, with the unknowns of Bryce and the rookie. It's a win or bust season, should have kept him for this year at least. Bottom line.

Without the say of the organization? When the goal is "win this season or bust"? When the goal is win now, not the future, not having FJ makes us worse this year.
