We can always argue about “which guys”, but I like the emphasis on winning the LOS. That was a serious problem on offense for years, but now the OL is a strength. I’d like to think this emphasis on DL is going to pay off in a similar fashion, especially if some of the new coaching additions can make a difference. We eventually got the OL right, now it’s time for the DL.

Oddly, Joe Marino said on a podcast we actually gained some draft capital with the trade up, the equivalent of a 5th rounder, iirc. He also said they hope to beef up Carter and try him at 1T. Will that work? I have no idea. 🤷‍♂️ One before I die, but that one didn’t count because I didn’t like the way it happened.

From a production standpoint, as much as I dislike ESPN, they are doing a much better job with the audio. NFLN has too much crowd noise blocking out the voices for me.

I think the wrist injury was a real thing and it will have an effect on how we perceive the whole situation. They talked about surgery, so it was not a small thing.

But Cooper didn’t come with the baggage that Pickens does, so….. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, what actually happened matters. Tyrod Taylor was not injury prone because somebody stuck a needle into his lung. This is not the same as recovering from a blown out knee. And yes, I would expect a bad shoulder to have some impact on his tackling.

Does that have to do with the refresh rate? I remember the TV before this one was not good for sports because the refresh rate was poor. The ball almost seemed to skip sometimes. I had forgotten about that, but it’s one reason I like our LG so much.

I don’t think that will help much. My family room and kitchen are attached, and even they don’t synch up. My son can be several plays ahead or behind watching a Bills game. That’s A LOT. IDK why it’s that way. 🤷‍♂️

RIP It’s easy to not notice when someone doesn’t show up here for a while. Thanks to SDS for letting us know as I’m sure many would want to be aware. And cancer does suck.

While we are on TV’s, we have a Samsung Frame TV in the living room. It’s awesome because when it’s not being used as a TV you can put pictures on it, anything from a Monet masterpiece to family photos or holiday themed art. It’s pretty cool to not have it look like a black TV on the wall. It can be motion activated so it can turn itself off if you are not around.

I don’t know about the QLED aspect, but with 4K it depends on what you are watching. Go into Best Buy or Costco and they display stuff designed to catch your eye and give you a WOW moment. If you’re watching the news, it’s no big deal. It’s better, but it’s pretty darn good without the 4K. Bottom line is there its still limited content, but you can find 4K stuff if you look for it. .

I’ve got a 77” LG OLED TV in the family room, and we LOVE it. I ordered it thru Crutchfield because they had free delivery and it was about $200 less than Best Buy or Costco. Win/win. The free delivery saved me from renting a van because it would not fit in either of our cars at the time. That may be helpful to you. I was watching Notre Dame play in Dublin and a box popped up asking if I wanted to watch it in 4K. Yes please! I learned that I get several 4K stations already, plus you can search in Netflix, etc for 4K only. It’s nice, but the picture is pretty darn good to start with. I think of TVs a being disposable these days. I hope the next one lasts longer for you. EDIT: The 4K channels do not always have programing available. There’s only a few of them, and sometime they are just blank on my DTV Streaming setup. You can search for 4K on other streaming services. .

Yeah, restraining orders are not fun at all. 🤷‍♂️

At nine we are probably almost onto shots, and that doesn’t come easy until about 12-14 years old in Buffalo. (Un)Fortunately, we got to practice well into the night/morning until about 4am. That’s growing up in Buffalo.
