One of my friend’s first job out of college was working Public Relations for the Love Canal. Hey, good luck with that! When I was 14 I got my NY working papers, or whatever they called them. I’d work all summer at an apartment complex mostly doing landscaping…..except for garbage day. All the trash stored up in the basements of the garden apartments had to come out to get picked up. We are talking week old garbage full of dirty diapers and week old fish that would gag a maggot. It would drip thru the bags and down your legs when you carried it out. I’ve had good jobs and bad, but if I’m having a bad day I just look back to garbage days. It makes me feel better about what seems like a problem in the moment. .

I admit I looked away and didn’t see him moving around some. That was a good sign I missed. I looked back in time to see just the replay of the hit. I was just hoping he would walk again right after it happened.

It took you all of 6 replies in the Milano thread to have a backhanded slap at Edmunds. Then you claimed to not realize that’s how it reads. Right. It was obvious, and frankly felt inevitable. Your perceived “poor coaching by McD” becoming a “theme” is another blatant twist for the negative. We are a legit Super Bowl contender. Guess what, sometimes things go wrong. You and a few others take every opportunity to put a negative twist on nearly everything. And an obsession with starting threads to share your views and/or gain attention. I am NOT against diverse opinions. It would be terribly boring without different points of view. I will respectfully say that several negative threads daily gets tiresome. I know, I can avoid them, but I enjoy some of the other takes from more balanced and informed posters. This is NOT my board and I’m well aware of that. But I hope it’s OK to be honest and talk about the elephant in the room. This stuff gets tiresome. Your threads have a “theme”. I think spewing is an apt description, and I know I’m not alone. Have a nice night. I’ll take my lumps on that if I have to. I know I speak for many others, not that you care.

Why start counting at the beginning of last season. As far as I’m concerned we are 0-1 this year. Go back two seasons and we were, I believe, 6-0 in one score games. So we were very good in that regard. But that year doesn’t count this year either. If you want to go back in time, why chose the starting point of last year? Why? Because they want to make in imaginary point to have something to whine about. Over this season and the last two seasons, we are about .500 in one score games, which still means absolutely nothing. The only game that matters now is the next game. EDIT: BTW, for those making a big deal about what Cowherd had to say, he still had us as the #1 team in the NFL on today’s hierarchy. He’s not saying we suck. We DO need a reliable running game that does not include Josh carrying the ball. That is real, and I think most reasonable people agree. .

They are the new Patriots, cheating in every way possible. Trying to meet with Brady. Offering to pay for losses. Concussion-Gate will always bring to mind cooking the opponents on the far sideline. Very Patriot*-esque.

Did you watch Teddy throwing the ball? I was afraid he might actually be better…..until he played. He might have found a rhythm in time, but he had an ugly start.

I think you are just pissed about the loss. He was clearly concussed, and they will handle this with as little coverage as possible. Their procedures clearly failed, but they don’t want any more press than necessary. There is a slightly less than ZERO percent chance they forfeit. They just might lose a draft pick, however. That was some pretty obvious stuff. Hard to “prove”, but “intuitively obvious to the most casual observer” as the brainiac in high school geometry used to say.

Healthy. Let’s face it, the first 11 guys make a lot more plays than the 12th Man. As hard as we may try…….and I’m damn proud of how hard we try.

If you don’t realize and appreciate the impact this had on the game, you are either completely ignorant, or you just want to whine. .

Everything went wrong for us, and they won by 2 at their place. I’m not predicting it, but if healthy I would not be shocked if we beat them by 30+ at our place.
